The next update for SP actually overhauls the game into a softbody physics simulation, you'll need a 6 core CPU atleast to play the game. Be prepared to shell out money for a new gaming PC /j
@Dllama4 They've been ungrounded?? Last time I checked they were still grounded after the crash in outside Penticton. Also you've reminded me to post my photos lol
I love me an F-104. Just some things for note, the rear gear doors are supposed to be sectioned in two parts, one stays open with the gear and the other closes when the gear is down. Also a lot of people get this wrong in SP but the engine in the 104 is tilted at about a 2-3 degree angle upwards, idk if that's to fit the engine in the body without tailstriking, or to counteract some sort of flight tendency I really don't know. But the afterburner exhaust should reflect that else it looks rather strange. Overall pretty good job :)
Absolutely mad, the best execution of a Gundam cockpit so far. Side note the Stamen is backpack thrusters are really well modelled and gives me an urge that I do not want, to build the RG Hi-V that's sitting on my desk...
Once again, shapewise it's very nice but from some quick flight testing I found some issues with it.
-On spawn, pistons break and fall out of the right slat
-The nose wheel has severe jiggle
-The right slat works, the left is jammed
-Flaps have severe left autoroll on extension
-The joystick connects into the floor not the control base so this won't work in VR
-The gun smoke is separate from the GAU-8 firing so you have to hit two buttons for the gun which feels unnecessary.
-Parts just fall out of the cockpit when the canopy opens?
I'm not trying to be the harbinger of all things bad, it just feels unfortunate that there's these issues with the functionality when a lot of work clearly went into making the airframe shape.

@BestBuilderEverNOCAP pitch up, planes like the Starfighter and Voodoo suffer from the main wings blanking out airflow to the tail in high AoA maneuvers, causing an unintended pitch up and potential deep spin :)

Great work, however idk if you sent me a defective model but it seems to like to recreate the Mercedes at the 1998 Le Mans race when it gets up to speed? I'm very distraught pls advise.

+6So you're asking for a CAD program?
+8@YEETBOIS1 very good :)
@YEETBOIS1 only if you say "please" or ideally "hey! Can you please set the successor link to this? I do not wish to be rude, thanks!". Go on, say it.

Mmmmm now this is exciting, really nice looking runway.
+1@ChamDel78 believe it or not, the IRL F-104 manual says to eject if control is not regained by 4500m IIRC
@ChamDel78 pardon?
can you help explain what exactly is different from this?
@BestBuilderEverNOCAP Credit actually goes to Baconeggs, I simply build
@BestBuilderEverNOCAP pitch up, planes like the Starfighter and Voodoo suffer from the main wings blanking out airflow to the tail in high AoA maneuvers, causing an unintended pitch up and potential deep spin :)
@BestBuilderEverNOCAP this is intentional, the F-104 did this in real life.
@Poppplane I'm sensing a lot of anger here hmmm
