@ToastedAlmond I used the connection editor. When you click on the button to rotate a block it shows up at the top of the buttons, it looks like two electrical sockets. I just selected the part and connected it to the cockpit!
Since we seem to be rolling back to the old challenges here, I suggest your next challenge to be a fighter challenge. No missiles tho, just guns. A test of maneuverability and design. I love entering these kinds of design challenges!
