@Brields95 If you're talking about that inward indentation, you will see it in all 3 views of the B-52, and in several photos of the actual wing. It's not a smooth straight wing. However, I do agree that I have made the wing indentation a bit too prominent...
@CRJ900Pilot the camo version of most planes came out during vietnam war, and they tend to look very same-ey. And the game's painting system limits you from doing a proper paint job without flooding the aircraft with tiny parts. Would be nice if they added a .jpg texture addon or something
@DimitriIqbal91 (I use PC) - View Menu, Top view (using blueprint button).
Then I start sharing, adjust the zoom, take screenshot, I rotate view to Right, adjust zoom, take screenshot, I rotate to front, adjust zoom, take screenshot then save... routine for me xD
@JettStorm That is exactly my intention. I use the game's blue-print feature and scale everything to cockpit scale. The rest is up to the builder and XML editting...
@Trainzo Thanks - yes, to be honest I'm addicted to building these planes more than flying them... And it worries me a little xD
Already got 10 planes queued for uploading, but limited to 3 uploads a day & Got another 10 or so in the production line...
Most of the planes I am doing are remakes of planes I have built before.
@Armyguy1534 this plane was a very tricky plane to get right due to the limitations of the game. I Admit that I could have worked harder on this model, but the fun part of this game is that its SIMPLE planes in the end. I was not intending to make super-realism nor super-detailed. Just detailed enough and to proper proportions to the game's cockpit.
@Mustang51 I admit it isn't the most maneuverable of my works, however the weight balance and power ratio can be that tiny bit tricky without making the plane break the laws of physics xD
@Mustang51 I wished to make the model as accurate as possible using the game's pre-designed look (with some XML-ing). Thanks to the new updated, I'm able to put blue-prints on the background and give the plane a more realistic look. However sometimes when using XML to change the size of the engine, the properties of its weight and strength change a lot. Sometimes outright reach mach 2 in a few seconds of putting full acceleration.
Also i noticed that these Fast fighters of the late 1950s till the 70s, the plane's body is relatively long and thin. Making my old models looks like closed turtle necks xD
I suggest making the wings for rolling and the pitch function on the front canards and make 2 overlapping layers. Take my Eurofighter Typhoon as reference..
Love the cuteness of your planes! Keep up the good work!
Ever considered making the SVF-07V Slug Flyer from the metal slug series? Would be awesome to see it!
Pretty good try! I would suggest changing the collective pitch control of the main rotor to Throttle instead of VTOL, in order to isolate rotor control from the turret control.
I really like the shape though the sharp edges make it look closer to the RAH-66 Comanche than the AH-64 Apache haha xD.
Smooth flyer! I would recommend setting the collective pitch of the main rotor to Throttle instead of VTOL. Much easier to fly and control once you do that. Keep up the good work!
@S4P9 Glad you like it :). Just a bit of imagination and plent of movement of parts is key. However I'm still not happy with the gears, when landing, it can get a bit... rough...
@LeHieu000111 my planes aren't to scale. i am intending to remake them, but it will take me a long time to do so...
+1@FaulWercht the game is a bit tricky with sea planes. They tend to drag heavily with water and flip over if not built properly
+1@Inuyasha8215 probably.. I grabbed a 3 view and started working... did nkt double check the version - which is perfect for my aac project...

@Trainzo Will try to put it in, got plenty of planes in the works.

@TheFantasticTyphoon An old plane, but was pretty cool-looking for its time
+1@JettStorm indeed she is. pretty wierd cross-section though...
+1reminds me of the PZL-230F skorpian... only bigger...

+1very nice mech!!

@Mustang51 I agree - very menacing aircraft to watch in person!

+1@Inuyasha8215 I made that comment long before the update of the carrier wire came out... Gotta update this plane too...
+1@gaw22pilot Good dogfight we had ;)

& thanks for the critique ;)
+1@Mustang51 I'm using the game's cockpit as a reference scale. The rest is proportioned using the game's blue-print feature. Thanks :)

+1Very good try! You could check out my take on the Airborne aircraft carrier project. Followed official documentation and everything.

This plane reminds me of the Model 985-30 microfighter design i did a while back... Awesome job
+1@edensk Fixed, thanks :)
+1Very well done! really like the whole appeal of it! Keep up the good work!
+1had fun testing this out on multiplayer!
+1Thanks for the results, appreciate your efforts, was a fun challenge :)
+1@TheFantasticTyphoon will work on it :) thanks for the suggestion
+1@nadvgia Gorgeous!! Fantastic work!!!
+1@TheFantasticTyphoon Agreed.. agreed... - Perhaps you might want to join in my B-17 Nose art challenge?
+1@TheFantasticTyphoon disappointing indeed. Your challenge was a great idea... too bad :/
+1Oddly satisfying....
+1Love the cuteness of your planes! Keep up the good work!
+1Ever considered making the SVF-07V Slug Flyer from the metal slug series? Would be awesome to see it!
I like the plane's shape, but it falls apart on full speed for me...
I would recommend getting some XML editting done to sort the clipping issues...
Non-the-less, looks awesome! Keep up the good work!
+1@Feanor I do a similar thing with some of my builds.
Though recently I've been building 1 model with different varietys - ex. My Mig-29 original and Naval Version
+1Pretty good try! I would suggest changing the collective pitch control of the main rotor to Throttle instead of VTOL, in order to isolate rotor control from the turret control.

+1no problem. will respect the rules
+1@BlackhattAircraft patience is key... luckily there's this game xD
+1@sauron2000111 thanks! much appreciated! I will probably reupload this model as unlisted coz I missed a few things
+1Very nice build! Mine had broken physics once it touched water for a water landing... Laughed my @$$ off xD
+1Smooth flyer! I would recommend setting the collective pitch of the main rotor to Throttle instead of VTOL. Much easier to fly and control once you do that. Keep up the good work!
+1@Rsouissi - Will try! Thanks for the suggestion!
+1Love the shape, but the jet engine is a bit much...
+1Good job though! Keep it up!
Nice flyer! Great attempt from the Mustard video. Recommend checking out my posts on these.
+1Looks like something from a space-program xD
+1@Paarthurnax i will need to update this model. I appreciate that you tried again :)
+1Flies very nicely! And lands much smoother than my version. Keep up the good work!
+1@S4P9 Glad you like it :). Just a bit of imagination and plent of movement of parts is key. However I'm still not happy with the gears, when landing, it can get a bit... rough...
+1Great job! Love how inside opens for the missles! Keep up the good work!
