@spefyjerbf It doesn't have to be a successor, just post a link. @Pauciloquent No modded parts for performance, you can use them for aesthetics if you wish. @LightbulbAircraftConglomerate Yes, that's no problem, just post a link to the revised version.
@FrankieB Retractable skis are fine. You can't use the rotator for anything functional that will help the plane fly, but you can use it for looks - like if you want to have a rotating radar dish or something.
@Supercraft888 Yes, skis can have retractable wheels. Be as imaginative as you like. @Dredex Thanks for your submission. @XjayIndustrys Of course you can be in - I'm not putting a limit on the number of entries. @spefyjerbf No, it doesn't have to be a successor as long as you provide a link to it.
@@salvador3031 I'm sure there'll be another tournament soon, you can try to get your revenge. My aim for the next one is to get one round further, maybe we'll meet again.
@@RedHawk @@DarkLithium OK, I've added another week to the deadline, the closing date is now March 7th. And about the modding fuselage blocks question, I'll allow it if it's just for looks, but I don't want anything that's going to affect how the plane performs. Fair enough?
I'm in, my biplane glider is up as a successor. I can finish the Eagle Pass race with it easily, the AI can manage it but crashes straight after the line.
@Himynameiswalrus Thanks, glad you like it. My original plan was to try to build something that could go supersonic, but I couldn't manage it so I went for something creative instead.
@salvador3031 Yeah, I've never tried modding and I'm not really sure what to do. I also don't see much challenge in making an infinitely powerful plane, it's much more interesting when you have to work with the standard parts. It actually did pretty well in the tournament, it won until it came up against a modded one.
@salvador3031 RP? I'm not sure what that means. If it means role play, it isn't really that - I just like to come up with a little story for myself as to what the plane is for.

Partly looks, partly performance, largely luck. I've found that entering challenges can be quite a good way of getting noticed, but apart from that, I don't have much advice.
@WhiteWing Maybe. I think my plane might be the only one that can manage the Eagle Pass glide race, it's just a question of whether it can make it through the first two rounds.
This was a tough challenge. I've not tried building a glider before, so building one with the weight of an engine in was tricky. It took a while, but I've made it - my Ascending Pinion is in as a successor. It can complete both races and carried a minigun for dogfighting.
Nice work. I like how stable it is when going for a climb or dive. It doesn't have a rudder, but it turns well enough on roll controls that it doesn't really need one.
I'm in, my plane is uploaded as a successor.

@Himynameiswalrus That's going to be most of the planes I make! No problem, I'll tag you in.

Time to create a new plane and name it the Pheasant Plucker.
@AviownCorp A compass and a map.

Thank you!
@TheRemesy Don't be like that. Your plane looked cool, but there was no way it was going to make it through the Eagle Pass glide race.
@Plasma Thank you very much, I was pretty pleased with that plane myself.
Woo! Victory! I'll have to keep entering your challenges, I seem to do pretty well in them.
I'm in. I've made my Hollowpoint plane to carry this and uploaded it as a successor.

Woohoo! Thanks for running the contest.
Looks good, goes fast and can turn tight - really nice work.
I'm in. I hope my ship is mobile friendly, but I have no way to test if it is.
@Skua I've just uploaded my entry. It can give yours a challenge in an AI dogfight, the winner seems to depend on the start position.
I'm in! Just don't judge my plane by its looks...
Whoah. That... is one hell of a plane. I don't know if I can come up with anything to beat it. Most impressive.
I just tried this out - amazing work. Well done!
