This is very promising - a few issues, though;
1. The wings are a wee bit off in shape - not enough chord.
2. The forward fuselage is a tiny bit off - the engine inlets are a bit "squashed"
3. The Harrier isn't a tricycle - it has a bicycle undercarriage with small wheels on the wings.
But you have more right than wrong - and I love the ROYAL NAVY text!
Many thanks.
As for the Linc... Sorry, old boy. Im now on to bigger and better things. Well... bigger anyway. Shorter wings... Longer most definitely. Maybe not better, either. But definitely more of the same... Named after a town in bonny Scotland, too... @Tang0five
I think the most interesting here (apart from the fact that this is going to be a nice XB-70) for me is the way you use markers to keep the proportions of your model. I intend to shamelessly steal this technique. Many thanks.
I know, right? Im lucky in that my employer gives me ICT equipment. My work laptop isntvtoo bad, but I got this iPhone6 second hand from an employee that left just before I started. Time for an upgrade soon, methinks. @ChiChiWerx
Yep. I hear you. My first SE.5a build did this. Turned out that the undercarriage had several tons of dead weight, for no apparent reason... @sheepsblood
@ChiChiWerx Many thanks. Don't ask me how, but this one just kinda "fell" together. I guess I'm maybe getting a bit more systematic in my building and using techniques I know work? Either way, I'm very pleased with how this came out.
Thanks! This one involved a lot of fiddling, sweating, swearing, RSI and Simpleplanes crashingvback to home screen... I might actually need a new phone, as someone here aluded to... @ChiChiWerx
No. I have a reasonably new iPhone6. A model with almost 400 parts is a heck of a lot of polys. Especially if a fair few of them are fluff that are not adding anything to the model. Its just inefficient.@danman12
Dingdingding!@ChiChiWerx I almost wrote something about how AG3 and AG4 were out of action due to Morg's brains making the buttons stick, but I quickly realised that it would have been in pretty poor taste...
Cool, thanks! She was completely neutral at one point of the build, flew straight and level without trim. Im not sure what I did to bugger that up. Very welcome fix, that. @sheepsblood
So was it as much fun as you could possibly have in a flight suit? @Alien Also, you are now my hero. I would love to hear some of your WIWOL stories one time?
Cool. Air crew or ground crew? Ive read enough about the Lightning to know that it wasnt exactly a shining example of "easy serviceability". But flying her was as much fun as you could possibly have in your flight suit. @Alien
You know, you could drop the part count drastically and make this more user friendly to those of us without super computers by removing the 10,000 stores points?
Other than that this is a lovely model. Nicely done.
I really couldnt say what causes the roll issue. But I think as Tang0five says; mirroring might be the issue? As for other advice? Jeez - since this Lightning surpases my own attempt by quite some way, I should be asking you for building tips!@Alien
This is really very good. You really seem to have an eye for the details, whilst not going overboard on the part count. You have the dimesions and shape pretty much spot on too. I really like this, in case you couldnt tell.
But - she has a tendency to roll right when you pull the nose up. To the left on nose down. Just a small niggle but a niggle none the less.
Otherwise, this is completely and utterly top drawer.
Please, dont misunderstand - it is a very good model. But you also stuck under wing stores points on there. Im pretty sure that they didnt come until the mk. IX. But otherwise a very cool model. @Datom
Is there another way to do "smooth" wings? I cant think of a way to lay fuselage blocks over the wing without having the control surfaces pop through. Doesnt really bother me, but I can see how others could might not like it?
The pitch is fine for me. If you yank on the stick then she will shake and rattle. I guess if you fly with a keyboard this might be the case? If youre smooth on the controls she flies fairly well (for me). She is by no means a fighter, either. So changes in attitude and direction take a while... FYI Im doing this on an iPhone6.
Das Würger ist spitze.
Sehr spitze. Das ist sehr gut.

Good job!
I love this model. But just to be clear. You're getting my upvote for writing a description that contains the phrase "Posterior gnarr".
Very well done.
@ChiChiWerx "Wait for the X" ha ha! I genuinely think that Apple believe their customers are stupid sometimes...
Could very well be... Unless someone moved Halifax... @Tang0five
Many thanks.

I couldnt say? Im not really a tech guy. Plus im in Norway (but originally from Scotland). Im seriously eyeing an iPad pro, though...@ChiChiWerx
If only, matey, if only...
Thanks. Im happy youre enjoying her. @Jerushah
Thanks. My next project is proving to be dam hard to bust... if you get my meaning, Guy...@Tang0five

Roger that, old chap. Dont forget to check out the B.1 standard too! @Tang0five

Achtung! Das ist vunderbar!
Very nice.
I find this inspiring. And lovely. Very lovely.
@WalrusAircraft I think it is time to schedule an "accident" for this handset...
Wait - you can run this on an iPhone 7? I have an iPhone 6 and my 400 part Shackleton makes steam come out of the headphone jack...
Maybe I DO need a new phone... Time to read up on the company IT policy...
Bugger! I wanted to build one of these. Now I dont need to; this is lovely. Also not a Boeing. Bonus points and a jaffa cake for that.
Cheers! Maybe a Sunderland next? Or a Shack AEW.2 (the tail dragger). @Tang0five
Thanks! This one involved a lot of fiddling, sweating, swearing, RSI and Simpleplanes crashingvback to home screen... I might actually need a new phone, as someone here aluded to... @ChiChiWerx
Cheers very muchly. I did promise you roundels, props and fin flashes... @Tang0five
Worth the upvote simply for the description. Wonderful.
Very nice.

Ok! At 24 upvotes this is my most liked build yet! Many thanks to all.

Splendid. I'll have the house boy set out the fine crystal. @Tang0five
Very nice.
If we keep this up old boy Im going to have to ask my man to fetch my top hat and monicle. @Tang0five
My next kite will have roundels, a fin flash and possibly a propeller.

Crikey! That was quick! I havet even put the description up yet!! Thanks. @CRJ900Pilot

Bitte schoen. Kein problem. @Datom
I, sir, am neither. But it was nice of you say... @Tang0five
Wizard kite, old boy. Bloody well done.
Yay! Asymmetric folding wings for all! @Tang0five
Please, dont misunderstand - it is a very good model. But you also stuck under wing stores points on there. Im pretty sure that they didnt come until the mk. IX. But otherwise a very cool model. @Datom
Das ist wunderbar.
Nice. Its not a Spitfire Mk.1a, but it is nice
Very nice.
