Making "Ace" planes is actually really fun, especially when you get to making individual tailcodes and squadron numbers just to flesh it out. It brings some substance to any fictional air force. I'd recommend making a nice roundel to put on your aircraft. Nothing too complex, but distinctive enough to be it's own thing
Regardless, neat paint scheme!
i recently posted a plane of mine that I had worked spent so much effort on, working on it for weeks (It has 5 upvotes as of now), but still my most upvoted post is a 35 part side build I did cause I was bored one day, racking in 28. Definitely an... interesting case and gets some laughs outta me, but deep down I do wish my higher quality builds would got a little more attention. I dont mean to advertise or whatever but my point is that the community for SP brings about some interesting results.

Learning how to use fuselage parts effectively is something that comes with practice. There are many ways in which to use them, most often I use "paneling", as it is referred to, on my newer planes cause many of them have weapons bays and a custom cockpit.
Sure, you can make square planes with very sharp edges and to would be fairly easy, but it is a good idea to combine pannels with solid fuselage to get a better shape. Do not be afraid to play with the different corner types, too. They allow for some nice shapes regardless of what style you're going for. This is helpful when building wings, as I usually construct a leading edge with resized fuselage parts, and add the rest of the wing in a triangle pattern.
I hope this is helpful!
sometimes an aircraft is too maneuverable. It's a balancing act between maneuverability and controlability. if your tail surfaces/canards have too much authority than it causes instability.
Then again you could always just create a flight model 100% independent of the plane's actual design.

well I have heard things about drama on this site, but I personally have not encountered such issues. Ignorance is bliss, I suppose.

Try using flat bottom airfoils on the wings, or make the wings bigger.
High wing, twin engine AND double tail?

@KnightOfRen thanks for the spotlight! I appreciate it!
@KnightOfRen Personally I think of it as someone genuinely enjoying the plane, cause if they didnt like it they wouldnt hit the button lol

I know this is a 5 month old post, but glass fuselages set to 10x opacity with the color at 100% metallic causes it to glow in the dark
I am a simple man. I see P-38 and I upvote.
