    @crazyplaness
    Tell me what exactly you do and maybe I can tell what you've missed.
    Also, the assist just keep your altitude close to tanker.
    You have to manage speed yourself.

    So it falling while the nose is pointing up?
    I don't get it.

    @KtaAviation
    Yes.
    It don't look like text isn't it.

    lol
    I though you took code from this until I downloaded the Dragon.
    But it's ok, I don't mind it at all.
    And thanks again for your kind words.
    So.. you have VR, can you run my F-35 in VR?
    I kinda want to know how it will perform since I don't have VR, all the work are just my guess.

    @ToeTips
    There are more I guess.
    But I think that's the most basic and it'll make the plane 60-70 % realistic.
    To get another 30% is the hard part.

  • Su-57 1.3 years ago

    Beautifully made.
    If you interest it making plane more realistic, I suggest you to start with thrust to weight ratio.
    You'll feel the weight of the plane and more real too, sometime you can't just accelerate away from falling.
    Just set thrust from the engine to match those in the real world. (might depend on the source but it'd not be a lot difference anyway)
    Also, set the plane weight to match the real world which I think you don't have problem with.
    And that will make the plane 50% real already, easy right?
    Now adjust drag to get the desire top speed since you can't change thrust anymore so all it's left is drag to play with. (This process required many flights of testing)

    @OrderlyHippo
    Activate AG1 will set the limit to 50, it's controllable but harder to fly.
    So judge for yourself how hard it is for limit of 30 because it'll be easier than 50.
    It's not that hard for me but it make me fly with 2 hands instead of 2 fingers lol.
    My signature trait of plane is how easy it is to fly so the limit of 15 is here to stay.
    Also, take a closer look at my flaperons, it both go with the airflow at high AoA so they will not stall and can still provide some roll authority at high AoA.

    I use these text ☼ ● ○ in label part and make it look like jet exhaust.

    They called it Beast because it carry additional weapons externally with little care about stealth.
    It's a beast with blowing stuff up as a number 1 priority.

  • F-35B 'Lightning II' 1.3 years ago

    @spectre118
    That's an A variant only.
    B variant don't get to have a gun unless it get gun pod.

  • F-35B 'Lightning II' 1.3 years ago

    @Zenithic
    Thanks.

    Alpha limit of the actual jet is 32 without the override, 50 with the override.

    So the exact number is 32 I assume, I though it'll be like 25 but I limited mine at 15 so it'll be more forgiving to fly.

    You got it better than those that got their D stuck in the fan. XD
    But seriously, try pitch up or down and see if it move.

    @OrderlyHippo
    You were right, I just make the flight more fun so I intentionally left some hole in flight control.
    I think my hovering fcs doesn't resist wind well, yes it take ground coordinate for calculation but for some reason it can resist only light wind.
    But it resist crosswind pretty well in hover though.
    Also, I think going 1000 mph and full pitch will rip wings irl, so I try going about 400 kts (like the pilot mentioning in the vid) and that resulting in 16-18 sec horizontal loop which I think it is not bad for the heavier B variant. (as oppose to a lighter A variant in the vid)

    If you keep pitching up while stalling that'd happen.
    Just drop the nose to gain more speed.

  • T-113 Helios (thrust vectoring + supermanovrability capable) 1.3 years ago

    @Zaineman
    Thanks.
    I'd check the Dragon 6 in a bit.
    This thing is as old as my account lol but I think it'll be working fine.
    It's just pure simple PSM code because back then I didn't know anything else.

  • F-35B 'Lightning II' 1.3 years ago

    And now it'll be hard to go back to non-fly by wire plane lol, same goes for me.

    Landing gear might not be broken easily like real life but I think it's quite fragile for SP standard where every material are strong.
