First thing. this is a very large plane, but with a positive power to weight, most of the problems that come with that are dealt with. It is also remarkably maneuverable, though it tends to lose speed quickly in a turn. The lack of an onboard gun of any sort, unfortunately, leaves it unable to effectively deal with any threats that enter dogfighting range. It's relatively low top speed of just over mach 1 at altitude means that should it be intercepted, it would be unable to escape on it's own.
Are the parts you're mirroring Rotated with a mod or maybe the new rotate tool? I know for a fact that the finetuner mod doesn't play nice with mirroring. I'm not sure about the rotate tool they added.
Simply put, Pushing the Center of lift closer to the back is an inherent function of Variable Geometry Wings. The best thing to do would be to limit the trim as much as you can. Alternatively you can make a trim system independent of the Pitch control surface.
Shooting at the uss beast and her escorts makes them fly away in a ridiculous manner. This is an excellent creation and that quirk makes it hilariously fun to fly.
I built a plane specifically designed to drop bombs like this one and gotnot much to show for. I guess I am a little salty about that. That said, It is pretty cool, if a bit hard to control.
@Pietro Here is my plane that can do it.

A really big part of this is making the control surface strong enough to push the plane into the maneuver.
Here, the canards are not strong enough to do the cobra alone and the air brakes in front create the force needed.
I have a few planes that can do the Cobra without help from Thrust Vectoring, If you would like to see them, I'll post them.
+1I like the "shell casings" that fall from the gun. Nice little cherry on top of this sweet helicopter.
@Velocita In that light, It's a superb airframe and I had fun with it.

All in all, A magnificent plane I enjoyed flying.
Wao. The Engine mesh doesn't show up on the top/side/front view box. That aside, just got the mod myself. Excited to try it out.
@Spikerya I also really like how you did the suspension, or the whole car really. It's great.
+1This feels really good to drive.
Could you upload the rocket accelerators on their own? I really want to play around with them.
Woah.
You... you didn't even do anything interesting to it...
@Tang0five got it in one.
@Stellarlabs I watched that same video, Inspiration struck and all that.
Thanks for the upvotes everyone.
It's very nice, not very maneuverable but I guess that's what the ton of flares are for.

Well, If you use the overload mod you can set mass to zero. From what I understand setting negative mass does some odd things.
@AudioDud3 yup, that's seriously what it's called.

Astounding. This thing is great.
@WNP78 how would I get a piston/hinge/etc. To extend on a button press?
Mind if I make something using the engine?
I'll credit you, of course.
This sounds fun. I haven't done a challenge in a while.
I know there used to be one. I'm not sure if there is one at the moment.
@MKGamePlay Thanks. I'll try that.
Wow. Definitely well designed and thought out.
Mine is done 1.6L Turbo Rally "Hakkero"
I think I'll give it a whirl. Do we just link it here, or something?
@oDDDynamics Yeah, I figured.
Favorite car- Lancia Delta Integrale
Favorite aircraft- Nakajima B5N2 "kate"
Favorite tank- Hetzer
I think there is a range. Like, if you spawn a plane it can only be within [x] amount of distance.
I tried to do this once. Didn't go so well for me.
Sometimes what you need to keep going is a break.
I would suggest max Dampening and strength in the rear and 180 Dampening int the front with almost max strength.
Nice.
Surprisingly easy to fly. Very fun to fly.
Fast and fun to drive.

I was wondering what happened.
I think I remember reading somewhere that it achieved a missile lock on an SR-71 but I may be wrong. Still one of my favorite planes.
Wow, much better than mine.
@PhilipTarpley no, I don't. It did fix it's self after I restarted the game.
@PhilipTarpley Samsung Galaxy Note 5
Not bad. It needs quite a bit of refinement though.

An interesting design. I like it.
I'm not sure how I missed this thing but it is now my new favorite creation on this site.
@Mox Not really.
@Sunnyskies seems like that was it. It doesn't blow up on highest setting for me either.
Flies like a drunk parrot and it can't climb to save it's life. But it DOES work. I like it. It's a great start and I hope to see you get better.
Looks like it'll turn out interesting.
