This is a truly exceptional build. Absolutely deserves being featured. Everything is perfect. Such a great job OP, I can’t tell you how impressed I am.
Hahah. Well I haven’t built anything in over 2 years either so you’re in good company. Looking forward to it. Unless the part count is more than 1k, in which case my poor little phone will not run it. GOD I want to get on SP VR. @Chancey21
Sounds like a challenge! My knowledge about funky trees is also extremely limited, though I was able to incorporate a little of it into that warbird build by borrowing and modifying some programming from other people’s builds. I’m sure that with a little work I could learn how to at least do some of the basics. You’d have to describe to me what exactly it is you want the active suspension to do before I could have an idea of whether I could help lol @TDCraft
Ooh, triple decker! lol. I hope you put fancy suspension on it… you know with the Funky Trees function you could program/build some pretty awesome active suspension, like I think the NBFL has irl, no? @TDCraft
For sure I think it’s a really cool concept! I had a couple thoughts if it’s of interest to you — 1) I thought it had too much power… I set it to 150 and I thought the acceleration was more realistic. 2) maybe you could change the input on the doors to [Activate4] for convenience? 3) I think it’d be nice if you added one or two cameras inside so we could get a perspective from one or two would-be passengers in different spots… other than that I think it’s really creative, would be a really neat thing to see this driving around the streets of London @TDCraft
Ah well, too bad — let’s just say I’m better now than I was previously lol. I’m not doing a whole lot these days other than caretaking for father (which is sometimes demanding and sometimes not) and trying to keep my old truck running nominally lol. Plus I do some odd jobs for a few other septuagenarian friends. Trying to be safe and stay covid free. What about you? @TDCraft
Oh man! What the hell! Did you report to the mods or anything? Congratulations on hitting plat by the way, really a shame you had to delete the account… why don’t you post all your old builds on your new acct? Maybe you can update them with glass/gauges if you feel like it, and at least start to regain some of your rank a bit. Plus I think if all those builds were no longer accessible to any users ever again — many of them were the best example of their respective original source vehicle — that would be really sad… @TDCraft
What sort of bother do you mean? Someone was harassing you or what? I’m sorta surprised, considering I’ve found the SP community to be one of the least toxic I’ve encountered online…
What about all your old builds though? They’re all taken down I guess? @TDCraft
Man, I don’t know… I keep flip flopping about it. Sometimes I think I want to but really I don’t have the motivation I did before… I mean, I did just post a plane, but it’s still a WIP and I’m not even sure if it’s worth it to try to finish… @ACEPILOT109
Wow man the look of this plane is awesome! Great concept, and well executed. That thing is ready to strike fear into the hearts of every spitfire in Europe! The flight characteristics are great; it rolls and pitches smoothed and balanced, and also fast but not unrealistic. And good job in the cockpit too, they take a lot of work, but I definitely think it is worth the payoff. Really nice work my friend I love it!
Thanks man!!! Yeah it required a good bit of patience. I always used to focus on builds that I could complete in 1 or 2 days. But if you really wanna do it right, you gotta take your time, and not be rushed to post. I modified the smoke machine slightly, but the original creator is @MrSilverWolf. Building it requires that you use Overload to edit the values for the gun; size of projectile, color, velocity, and a bunch of other stuff. Yes, I agree with you that the Lotus 49 is a fantastic and sexxxy machine. Really I love all the F1 cars from that era. Unfortunately I really only build planes, I’m not sure I have the skills to do such an intricate ground vehicle build... although I suppose there’s a first time for everything, and the best way to learn is to practice. But I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you, in terms of me taking this on. Actually I’ve really been struggling to set aside time for SP lately. But I will say, one of the greatest car builders in SP imo is @tylerdeveneuxmusic. I can’t volunteer to you his services on his behalf, but if you want someone to build a great replica of the Lotus, he’s the builder I recommend you ask. Thanks again though man, that made me feel really good :)
Yeah, that could be helpful. Another thing you could consider would be to calibrate the “anti-gravity” thrust such that at full power, the craft stays exactly at a fixed altitude, not increasing or decreasing; in other words the thrust is exactly equal to the weight of the craft. Or, make it so the thrust is only slightly greater, so that it just barely increases altitude. Then, the pilot can manipulate the attitude of the craft and then use the forward or reverse thrusters to gain and lose altitude. That’s what other SP users do when they build rigid airships/blimps and stuff. I think it would add to the zero-g feel of the craft. Don’t want the thing rocketing off the pad, at least imo. Something to consider anyway.
Yeah, I’m sorry man. Sucks. You did a good job on presentation too, I think it’s just bad luck really. I’ve certainly had times where I was really proud of a build and then it didn’t get much attention and I was disappointed. But maybe it’s more important that you know you did a good job
Nice work! Flies well, landing gear is great! If I could add a little constructive criticism; proportions are a little off. Wings specifically. For a jet this size/type, you want the wingspan to be about the same length as the fuselage. Maybe even slightly wider I guess. And you want the wings to attach at almost exactly the halfway point on the fuselage, right in the middle. If it were a jet where the engines were mounted on the tail section, then the primary wings would be mounted even further aft. Also the stabilizer wings on the tail section could be a little smaller and thinner (surface area wise, not the thickness of the airfoil). But overall a very cool plane! Hope those suggestions were welcome. If not, you can let me know not to do so in the future.

+1What a crazy plane! Cool build man, fun :)

Seriously! Bums me out though that I don’t have a gaming computer with a HOTAS and a good vr headset… @ACEPILOT109
Lol! Yep. I can’t believe all the cool new stuff on SP since I left! I half expected it to be dead. @ACEPILOT109
Lol thanks though I’m sure this post isn’t going anywhere @Kaiser7
Oh hey! lol took me a second I guess you changed accounts. Still making cool cars tho I see… Yeah been a long time, feels like a lifetime @TDCraft
+1I’m alive lol @ACEPILOT109
Can’t wait to see it! They are just so pretty it brings a tear to my eye...
@AtomicCyclone
Oh yeah, right on! Bike sounds awesome! @AtomicCyclone
How about a vintage (maybe 60’s) F1 car?
@AtomicCyclone
Sweet! Nice work!
Very cool! Great work on the lg! Needs flaps ;)
Lol what?
My pleasure man keep up the great work :)

Very cool! Like maneuvering a spacecraft; super hard lol. Nice work.
Fantastic design
+2Very cool design, I love the lg!
Oh heck yeah that’ll be awesome!!

Absolutely!

Wow looks incredible!
Damn shoulda posted my speedometer a week ago lol. Isn’t this good though good job.
+2Always love your builds man great job
Came out great man, glad I could help :)

+1Haha thanks buddy :) mine too
Don’t worry I won’t ;)
