Haha. Thank you for your input though. I just can’t get over how cool and helpful all you guys are. @Chancey21

  • Sp is crashing more... 6.5 years ago

Okay that’s a good plan. Any idea why it has increased? I don’t feel like I’m doing anything differently... @DemonSniper8

  • Sp is crashing more... 6.5 years ago

It’s my iOS machine that’s crashing though, not my pc. @Chancey21

  • Novelty Act pt.1: The Trainer (slightly less unrealistic) 6.5 years ago

I asked @RodWan for help and he definitely helped; I probably would have scrapped the project without his help. But still, I couldn’t get size and weight down very far. @randomusername

  • Novelty Act pt.1: The Trainer (slightly less unrealistic) 6.5 years ago

Either lots of spontaneous self destruct, or unmanageable torque from the rotator, or not enough thrust, or runaway acceleration, or inability to take off. Also uncontrollable flight characteristics. @randomusername

  • Novelty Act pt.1: The Trainer (slightly less unrealistic) 6.5 years ago

I tried to get the weight and the scale down, I was going to use the real planes wingspan as reference point for scale. But I couldn’t get it to function when I scaled size and weight. I tried forever and couldn’t get it so I just left it big and heavy... :( @randomusername

  • Smokey UL 250 6.5 years ago

@Tully2001 wow thank you for the feature! You guys are so cool!

  • !Noisy Cricket! Mirrored Motor update (last update I promise) 6.5 years ago

    Of course! :) @ProfessionalAmateur

  • Pitts Extreme S4B 6.5 years ago

This plane is a work of art. I dearly lament that I cannot run it on my machine.

  • Should I give up on this... 6.5 years ago

I build most everything on my phone and then if I need to do anything with mods I transfer to my pc. It’s infuriatingly slow though, hence the phone. Also, I clearly don’t know what I’m doing with the mods. But with your help and others, I’m definitely starting to learn. @RodWan

  • Should I give up on this... 6.5 years ago

Wow that is incredibly helpful thank you! @RodWan

Looks fantastic! Good work on the cockpit too!

  • What does it take to get a build featured? 6.5 years ago

Haha okay. How many points does platinum start at, anyway? @QingyuZhou

  • !Noisy Cricket! (Wheel fix update) 6.5 years ago

Yeah, I don’t have that button, I don’t know why. Maybe it’s not available on iOS. @ProfessionalAmateur

  • Noisy Cricket! (mirrored correctly) 6.5 years ago

Cool good job! I did just finish my own version with the mirrored/countered engines, but I’m not sure I’ll post it since I’ve already posted an update... unless you think I should... also I thought of spotlighting your version but that seems a little self-serving... do you think?

  • !Noisy Cricket! (Wheel fix update) 6.5 years ago

Ok, 1- how do I do that? I have never been able to figure that out... is it not possible on the iOS version?

2- can you do it with multiple parts at once? @ProfessionalAmateur

Ok, that makes sense. Thank you for taking a look! Late is no problem I’m not in a rush hahaha @RodWan

I don’t know off hand but when I get home tonight I’ll take a look. @whereby

  • Should I give up on this... 6.5 years ago

Wow thank you! Well, it spontaneously explodes when you pitch and roll aggressively. Also, when you scale it down, then it flips out and explodes even faster... maybe you can figure out why? But also I will need to finish the build before I scale it down so... I dunno, that do you think? @RodWan

  • Howard H.P.W. 3400 6.5 years ago

Thank you!!! I think I got extremely lucky... @JelloAircraftCorporation

  • What does it take to get a build featured? 6.5 years ago

Thanks for the advice! I think I just got extremely lucky because one of my builds just got featured hahaha... I wish I knew how to thank the mod/dev who did it! @Minecraftpoweer

  • Howard H.P.W. 3400 6.5 years ago

Thank you! I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that yesterday I posted on the forum asking if getting featured was a realistic goal for me... :/. So maybe it’s mostly luck, but hey, I’ll take it! Haha. Who do I thank, btw? @Chancey21

  • Smokey UL 250 6.5 years ago

    :) @Chancey21

  • !Noisy Cricket! 6.5 years ago

    Hey there’s a good idea! @LiamW

  • !Noisy Cricket! 6.5 years ago

@LiamW haha ok dang I was gonna say how do you do electric motors in SP? not counting infinite rotators i guess...

  • What does it take to get a build featured? 6.5 years ago

Haha dang. Ok well thanks for keeping it real :) @BoeyingOfficial

  • !Noisy Cricket! 6.5 years ago

Are you making a request? @LiamW

  • Should I give up on this... 6.5 years ago

I do have a pc running SP but it’s so slow and crashy that I only use it strictly for fine tuner and Overload. That being said, I only just started using those mods and don’t really understand how to use them correctly :/ @whereby

  • Should I give up on this... 6.5 years ago

Ok cool thanks! Yeah I use my phone (iOS) for everything. I’ve just started playing with mods using my Dell, but it’s a piece of junk so I only use it when I absolutely have to. @Planedude

  • Should I give up on this... 6.5 years ago

@RodWan Hey man, I noticed on your profile that you can help with tuning/XML stuff. And based on your comments and content, I thought you’d be the guy to ask! Do you have any ideas on what I can do with this build? I swear it’s taking years off my life.... :(

  • Should I give up on this... 6.5 years ago

Haha yeah I guess it is. No I haven’t disabled collisions cause I’ve no idea how to do that... Another problem is when I try to scale it down (it’s so huge) then things go haywire even faster... and if I can’t figure out how to get it to function correctly, I don’t wanna spend the hours getting the aesthetics right :/ Also, thank you, btw hahah @Planedude

  • !Noisy Cricket! (Wheel fix update) 6.5 years ago

Fantastic! That looks a bit trickier to get into a cockpit but I’ll do my best to figure it out so I can put that in a future build! @Planedude

  • What does it take to get a build featured? 6.5 years ago

    Haha! I’m sure @FastDan

  • !Noisy Cricket! (Wheel fix update) 6.5 years ago

Thanks to @Planedude for the great artificial horizon!

  • What does it take to get a build featured? 6.5 years ago

Also, is it the mods who pick featured builds? or is it automated, like once you reach a certain number of upvotes or downloads or something?@randomusername

  • What does it take to get a build featured? 6.5 years ago

Oh! Right got it haha. But yes, a feature that is functional but rare is basically what I was thinking. So... by cargo mech, you mean a big lumbering bi-pedal or -quadrupedal or whatever-pedal walker whose purpose is to carry stuff; either imaginary troops, ordinance, etc or even other builds like planes or trucks or tanks, right? @randomusername

  • Howard H.P.W. 3400 (update) 6.5 years ago

I’m rewriting this in the comments so the user gets notified:

Thanks to @BogdanX, whose pontoons I used (Fairy Seaplane). I love that plane, btw, great work!

  • Smokey UL 250 6.5 years ago

I wrote this in the description but I’m posting it here so that these builders get a notification:

I would like to thank @jamesPLANESii, @BodganX, and @Chancey21, whose amazing bush and ultralight planes gave me inspiration and a benchmark to aspire to. I know I’m nowhere near that level, but they make me want to keep trying. So thank you!

  • !Noisy Cricket! (Wheel fix update) 6.5 years ago

Well I can’t use the mirror tool now because of stuff that’s in the cockpit so I’ll have to pull it off of an earlier save file. @ProfessionalAmateur

  • !Noisy Cricket! (Wheel fix update) 6.5 years ago

Oh hey that reminds me; is there a function that mirrors only one part? It seems like that would be a thing but I can’t figure it out (I’m on iOS if that makes a difference) @ProfessionalAmateur

  • !Noisy Cricket! (Wheel fix update) 6.5 years ago

Thank you! Yes, I struggled over that for a while. I knew it would be more accurate as a replica if they were mirrored/counter-rotating. But stylistically I felt it would be cooler for some reason if I made the engines identical rather than mirrored. Also I guess I didn’t want it to look like I was lazy and just used the mirror tool (silly, I know). I think I may have chosen wrong hahaha... but thank you for the feedback! I value it greatly. Maybe I should post another update that is mirrored. @ProfessionalAmateur

  • JeepRod! 6.5 years ago

Ooh, what about Finnegan’s ‘56 (‘57?) Chevy gasser? I bet you could build a really sweet version of that one! @aircraftarsenal123

I think you’re the man for the job! Haha seriously though Roadkill is one of my favorite shows ever. @aircraftarsenal123

That thing is a smoke machine!!! I really loved that episode hahaha. Great build man! @aircraftarsenal123
