Really sorry to bug you about this, but I have a biplane I’ve been working on that needs some XML editing. Would it be alright if I tagged you in an unlisted?
This looks really good. Your building skills have really improved a lot, and it shows. My only complaint is that this is way too maneuverable. This handles like an Extra 300, not a commuter plane. Realistically this should probably take about twice the width of Yeager to turn, maybe more. I also feel like the stall speed is a little too slow. If you need some inspiration to how something like this should handle, check out some video of Bob Hoover’s Aero Commander aerobatic routine. Not trying to be nitpicky or anything, and this is a really beuatiful build! :)
That is definitely not the most intelligent thing to do, and seems almost ridiculously risky to anyone observing. However, we do have to keep in mind that two people died as a result of that incident. What they did may have been ill-advised, but imagine how their family must feel, or their friends. They’re not laughing at the stupidity of it all. They’re mourning the loss of someone they love. I’m not trying to criticize you for making this post in any way. Just foood for thought.
Hey- I have a bush plane I’ve been working on recently. Can I tag you in an unlisted? I’m having a little trouble with the flight dynamics. Would you be able to help?
You should try to build it yourself. Consider it as a challenge and try to learn some new techniques! From what I’ve seen you seem to be a pretty capable builder. ;)
As someone who has esy access to NASM, I would choose Oshkosh. True, some of the most groundbreaking and famous aircraft in history are at NASM, but they’re just sitting there. Oshkosh has 30,000 aircraft FLYING. @HistoricBirds
Pretty good! I have only been able to work on it sporadically, but all of the main structure is there. I also got a new phone which can handle much higher part counts (my old phone started getting really laggy at about 250 parts, my new one can handle at least 1500.) @Hyattorama
Thanks for the help on the rotators! This was about the best I could get it to fly without being uncontrollable. Even then, it feels a bit uncomfortable to fly to me. @Hyattorama
I noticed you didn't comment on the flying characteristics.....:)! I haven't had mich time to work on the Basket Case- I've been a bit busy lately. I need some small rotators with the base mesh disabled for the control surfaces. I haven't been able to find any that work, amazingly. Most are from landing gear and are modded to only go in one direction. @Hyattorama
BEELZEBUB HAS A DEVIL SET ASIDE FOR MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
+1Safe travels man! It’s been fun working with you on projects. Thanks for all the help you’ve given me.
+1That’s freakin amazing man
+1If you want. It really only happens when you pull extreme negative G at high speed so it’s not much of an issue. @Hyattorama
+1Those things are hilarious.:) @Hyattorama
+1Quite frankly the seats are by far the best part of this plane.
+1Thanks man! I’m not very experienced with making engines, but I’ll try harder in the future. @F104Deathtrap
+1“south” @BurkeEnterprise
+1When you say down south...

+1You’re welcome man! And honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they chose you to be a mod at some point! @Hyattorama
+1Congrats man!

+1Thanks! I forgot to credit you in the description for helping with the wings and such. I’ll add that now @Hyattorama
+1Thanks! @Strikefighter04
+1Thanks! @ACEPILOT109
+1Cuz the designers forgot to add textures
+1Great! Hope to see a build or two! @Hyattorama
+1Sorry to hear that. At least we’ll have you around a bit longer though! :) @Hyattorama
+1Wait you’re still here?! @Hyattorama
+1It’s definitely not particularly intelligent. @Strikefighter04

+1Adios good sir! Safe travels!
+1Oh ok. Hopefully it shouldn’t take too long :) @Hyattorama

+1Not trying to make enemies or anything but isn’t that a bit political?@PlanesOfOld
+1I use imgur. It’s a little bit more finicky, but it works for me.
+1Thanks! @DPSAircraftManufacturer
+1Thanks! I guess you’re kind of the expert on early aviation around here so it means a lot! @PlanesOfOld

+1Np! @WarHawk95
+1I can run 1500+ part builds on my iphone 7. So that could be an option instead of a pc @Carbonfox1
+1@HistoricBirds There's ww2 stuff at Oshkosh, and it's actually flying!

+1The basket case doesn’t have 1500 yet. Right now I think it has around 250 or so. @Hyattorama
