Hey can I xml-mod engine thrust, weight, and such? My entry is going to be powered by either the GE F414 or GE F110 with realistic values according to either engine I choose. The BFE150 is too powerful compared to even the GE F110, so I wanted to tone down the thrust a bit, but it would still have a high fuel consumption, which I can't edit. So I want to use the BFE150 as a "false engine" purely for aesthetics, especially with the already-working afterburner pedals it has, and put the Blasto J90 or J50 in place as the "real" engine and modify the thrust slightly to match that of the dry thrust of the F110 or F414. And then use VTOL engine + thrusters to create the afterburner, which will also be xml-modded to add on top of the dry thrust to equal that of the wet thrust (afterburner). Is this fair game? The T:W ratio will be around 1:3 to 2:0.
@Minecraftpoweer
I once made some sort of amino-acid model in SP for a science project in biology about 1 or 2 years ago. I've also used SP for my 3D modeling class and made a bootleg Bell JetRanger, exported it as an .obj file, and imported it into my blender project.
McDonnell Douglas had quite a bit of concept aircraft, both civilian & military. They even had a design for a VTOL DC-9! A commentator on a YT video about the Aurora showed me a poster & photograph depicting what appears to be some top-secret demonstrator by McDonnell Douglas. It was a sleek white delta-wing aircraft that was powered by x2 J79's with F-4-style intakes feeding them, and had a ramjet booster underneath the aircraft with an intake that resembles the XB-70's intake. The poster is an illustration, but the photo is apparently real and was taken from the ground of the mystery aircraft firing it's ramjet booster, with a large fireball coming from it. The aircraft has no designation at all, but the photograph depicting it is titled "Bright Star". Also, here's a cool online forum showing other MD concepts & projects.
@DickBrazen
Oh cool! I think a lot of the silent hovering black triangle sightings are some type of stealth blimp. Although I'm open to the possibility they are some sort of anti-gravity vehicle like the Tic Tac (which I'm positive that thing employs some kind of anti-gravity). SE Oregon is pretty barren with lots of open semi-desert; Would make some pretty good testing grounds for aerospace projects. There's also a couple of Military Operation Areas in SE Oregon as well.
@LEDOverCharge
Currently busy with other priorities, but whenever I do get to working on Rainier Aerospace projects, its usually other stuff like my Grizzly MPAT-V truck (currently making a container variant) and one of my other drones that's been long in development and way overdue for finishing & release. The BQM-165 Midge (the drone seen in this post) is on the back-burner for now, and the "technology" behind it still has some bugs that need to be ironed out.
@FutureSkylines
I originally used MSpaint to make it. Although I use paint.NET for a lot of my graphics these days, as its a much more capable program.
Ayy your working on a Sonex as well! I'm planning on doing the Onex model, and making it in both SP and FSX, although the project hasn't really gotten anywhere past the resource & reference material gathering stage...
@Freerider2142
Thx for the free advertising. I'm currently too swamped with school to work on any of my SP builds, or even go on SP at all. Although the bigger priorities with Rainier at the moment is the Grizzly program & variants, and an undisclosed civilian Very-Light-Jet (VLJ) design Rainier recently acquired from another aircraft manufacture that was roughly 90% complete when Rainier purchased the design. So the Mako Shark at the moment is pretty much on the back-burner. Although I may be able to resume SP activity by the end of next week.
@jamesPLANESii
I'm gonna go on a hunch and guess its the 737 MAX, since the 777x hasn't flown and all examples built so far are all at Paine Field in Everett, WA.
@TMach5 thanks!
I also made a fictional JAM fighter called the "Type V" and it's almost impossible to shoot-down.
Absolutely beautiful! I love all things Yukikaze. It's such a good series. Awhile ago I made a spin-off of the Fand and one of it's earlier unused production drawings.
@TrislandianAlliance
Thanks!

My entry is a forward-swept wing canard design and Mikoyanster appears to be fine with it. Not sure about mods though.
@mikoyanster
+1Just to give you an idea what my entry looks like: Its almost like a cross between an X-29 and JAS-39 with some X-02 Wyvern flare to it.
@FlipposMC
K but where exactly in the input section & what part(s)?
@mikoyanster
:)
Noice!

So how does this "funky trees" thing exactly work? I get its code but where do I conduct all this coding?

Ah, I remember when I used to sort-of-like trains and Thomas the Dank engine.
And then I met Jay Jay the dANK Jet plane.
Holy smokes this thing actually shoots out presents made of bullets! Impressive!

+1This was also the plane that invented the Cobra maneuver before the Russians.
Looks a little like the FFR-31 Sylphid from Yukikaze. I likey.
he looks so happy

Oof. This is why I tend to stay away from touchy subjects, especially in SP/SR2.
@Mustang51
Thx, glad you like them!
@RailfanEthan
Oh ok.
ayy lmao
Stupid question:
