I’ll upvote if you add real suspension and I’ll spotlight if you make it well enough. It looks good but has no suspension. Kinda defeats the purpose of an off-road dune buggy
@spefyjerbf @small1324 If you embed explosives into the battering ram and mod every single part's health to 1000000, you would have a single use battering ram effective against ships without damaging yourself.
I haven’t flown it yet, no. I’ll try it sometime soon but I don’t have that much time unfortunately. I think it just needs minor cosmetic wing details and a paint job. I’ll judge the flight performance another time @AviownCorp
I may edit it to be a little more realistic. I personally love crazy agile planes (I'm an RC 3D pilot) but I think dark falcons probably needs slightly more realistic stuff that doesn’t make pilots heads explode lol @AviownCorp
@AviownCorp I'd suggest delta wing for simplicity and functionality. Make it a 5th gen fighter capable of mach 2 at 30000ft (at least). A single machine gun and 6 pylons for missiles would be good. Just my personal suggestions
I like it. I don't speak for the rest of the dark falcons of course (low rank but very active) but I think some slight modifications would make this perfect
It actually does look like a scania to me. Through my eyes, all cabover road trucks are the same lol. Make it off-road or electric and then we can talk
I suggest using a matte finish with less contrasting colours and a cockpit that blends into the fuselage better. Maybe just add windows to the nose like most large aircraft
I haven't tried this yet so I'm not quite sure what the issue is. The mechanism doesn't look quite right with the shocks like that. Take a look at my latest posts for examples of functional solid axle suspension
Perfect! It really needs more unloaded weight to actually work properly for rock racing but it is just a chassis so I guess that’s ok. This seems to work better than my 4-link suspension for high speed
Application sent in but I am aware that I haven’t made any detailed aircraft. I’ll make a VTOL heavy attack aircraft with more detail then I usually do. I wish I could send in pics of RC aircraft I’ve built instead lol
Multiplayer on LAN (or worldwide), spawning AI aircraft, but the best is to just set several aircraft as subassemblies and arrrange them in the designer
How about putting a free spinning rotator on top and attach a fuselage block, beacon and jet to it. Nudge it to the outside and voila! You may or may not have lights at the end of the propellor. Just an idea and there’s countless issues with it @spefyjerbf
The only problem is that I get lazy with SP promotions and it’s hard to get attention. Just asking around to see if more popular players can spotlight the challenge once I put it up (hopefully within a week) @SimpleEric
I was thinking of testing it in a few different courses on ISC Testing Grounds. It has all types of off-roading available there. I was thinking of making things that can do a bit of rallying and rock crawling but primarily hill climbing on specific sections (as well as some stuff on proving grounds of course). I could make a 4 link chassis and independant chassis available for people to use. @SimpleEric
Would you be interested in creating some rock racers? I’m considering either doing a collab, 1v1, or open challenge for creating complex and functional rock racers/bouncers/crawlers. It seems that not many people make complex and functional off-road suspension anymore and I would like to get it popular again. Please contact other people who you think would be suitable @SimpleEric
Does throttle input effect volume? If so, 10x power and 0.1x max input @Hyattorama
+1Yes. Buy me a real one. JK, no I’m not. Just voicing opinions lol @Hyattorama
+1@Hyattorama very
+1It’s a cri cri!
+1@mikoyanster Hell no
+1Are we limited to traditional single rotor helicopters with a swashplate or can I create a quadcopter?
+1It may not have real suspension but it’s at least bronze worthy
+1I’ll upvote if you add real suspension and I’ll spotlight if you make it well enough. It looks good but has no suspension. Kinda defeats the purpose of an off-road dune buggy
+1I did actually. That’s how I managed to create successful solid axle suspension. @marcox43
+1@spefyjerbf Probably a good idea. I was just trying to think of an impact activated device. SimplePlanes isn't too good at collisions even after 1.8
+1@spefyjerbf @small1324 If you embed explosives into the battering ram and mod every single part's health to 1000000, you would have a single use battering ram effective against ships without damaging yourself.
+1Even better!
+1Very impressive! @AviownCorp
+1I like it. I’ll try it out another time of course but it looks perfect
+1Definitely. @mikoyanster Is continually impressing me with his builds @AviownCorp
+1I haven’t flown it yet, no. I’ll try it sometime soon but I don’t have that much time unfortunately. I think it just needs minor cosmetic wing details and a paint job. I’ll judge the flight performance another time @AviownCorp
+1I may edit it to be a little more realistic. I personally love crazy agile planes (I'm an RC 3D pilot) but I think dark falcons probably needs slightly more realistic stuff that doesn’t make pilots heads explode lol @AviownCorp
+1Not this one yet. Maybe tomorrow. I have flown a couple others of yours though @AviownCorp
+1Y E S
+1This is exactly what I've been looking for! This would be great for the dark falcons
+1@AviownCorp I'd suggest delta wing for simplicity and functionality. Make it a 5th gen fighter capable of mach 2 at 30000ft (at least). A single machine gun and 6 pylons for missiles would be good. Just my personal suggestions

+1Oh good. I’m rubbing off on people lol @Kkillz21
+1Looks great!
+1It actually does look like a scania to me. Through my eyes, all cabover road trucks are the same lol. Make it off-road or electric and then we can talk
+1I’m going to keep playing KSP until SR2 is released
+1@DPSAircraftManufacturer I meant the cockpit. You do need windows to see outside on most cargo planes...
+1I suggest using a matte finish with less contrasting colours and a cockpit that blends into the fuselage better. Maybe just add windows to the nose like most large aircraft

+1Now I need to make a grabber arm for my VTOL bomber ;) @diegoavion84
+1Good work! Can you take off with one inside?
+1Perfect! It really needs more unloaded weight to actually work properly for rock racing but it is just a chassis so I guess that’s ok. This seems to work better than my 4-link suspension for high speed
+1Oh goody gumdrops!
+1Application sent in but I am aware that I haven’t made any detailed aircraft. I’ll make a VTOL heavy attack aircraft with more detail then I usually do. I wish I could send in pics of RC aircraft I’ve built instead lol
+1That is ridiculously easy
+1That’s what I said dude. Tag someone else please @DPSAircraftManufacturer
+1Have all my upvoters disappeared D:
+1How is it that I can spotlight this? This is way better than my stuff (other than the fact that it’s terrible at rockcrawling)
+1Multiplayer on LAN (or worldwide), spawning AI aircraft, but the best is to just set several aircraft as subassemblies and arrrange them in the designer
+1It sure is! I’m making a scratch built depron version with a wider, symmetrical wing and better fuselage shape at the moment. @TTHHSSSS
+1Top one. Looks a lot sleeker
+1Someone made that as a mod. Only problem is that it would fly away in the designer if you didn’t trap it fast enough
+1I don’t usually upvote modified stock planes but... this is just weird
+1Spell purge more like @Kerbango
+1How about putting a free spinning rotator on top and attach a fuselage block, beacon and jet to it. Nudge it to the outside and voila! You may or may not have lights at the end of the propellor. Just an idea and there’s countless issues with it @spefyjerbf
+1Guess I’ll just post it soon and try to spread word then @SimpleEric
+1The only problem is that I get lazy with SP promotions and it’s hard to get attention. Just asking around to see if more popular players can spotlight the challenge once I put it up (hopefully within a week) @SimpleEric
+1Separate compression and rebound settings for the shocks. I’m severely triggered by awful suspension performance
