@OtterOfToast well, I use modded parts all the time and I only have an iPhone lol. For me I don't feel like I'm cheating the system because of how hard I need to work to get some of the parts I use, and how using them is even more challenging than that
@JetboyInc Mox said quality over quantity, you said your planes were quality and you wanted more quantity. I replied saying you should work on even more quality, because it isn't a yes or no whether it's high quality or not. There's always something better you can do with it
How many parts is it? Also, is it particularly long/wide/tall? Because for most iOS devices, there's a glitch that prevents doing anything with creations that go too far in any direction, regardless of part count
Why don't you want to use mods? Often if you're trying to make something easier by using mods (I'm talking about XML "modding" not actual mods) it's actually harder than doing it normally, while using mods you can make things that are 100% impossible with normal parts. And it's the amazing creations that are unique because of modding that people like
@JetboyInc spend the time making your planes better, adding details/making them more fun to fly/etc. The upload limit is there so people are forced to spend more time with a build
@DisferGoatzFAILURE a long time ago I saw someone use stupid fast ones to make a propellor that actually flew, but I couldn't find it again. the fastest infinite rotator I have can barely move a plane when I use 4
You mean like a hollow fuselage with all this stuff? Nobody is going to do that just as a request, it's really hard. You'd need to collab with then or something
So you propose we stop creating planes (which is the entire purpose of this site) and instead go on a witch hunt against other users (which is sort of totally against the site's roles). Somehow that doesn't seem to make sense. If you truly feel the need to stop uploading in protest, go ahead. Nothing will change, and the sole few people out of the thousands on this site will soon forget and new creators will take your place. If you actually want to start this again, I just want you to know how futile your actions will be in the long run
@WhiteWing generally, moving the CoM closer to the CoL and making your plane have more responsive roll usually helps. Unfortunately there is no way to fix the AI tenancy to do that, it's just something you'll have to design around
@Booster456 flaps and airbrakes we can already make fairly easily. But flaperons, elevons and yaw/pitch control surfaces (ruddevators?) Would be very very useful
@KingDeadshot is the multiplayer mod finished? Also, they held back multiplayer because it wasn't coded with multiplayer in mind and they would have to re write nearly all of the game's code to make it possible
Personally, I would give something with a futuristic turret like that a lower profile, bit that's hard to change at this point in the build and just imo. It still looks really good!
@Blitz75000 SR wasn't as successful as SP, and they're making another one, so I don't see why they wouldn't make a SP 2. They're fixing a number of problems that SR had so I expect they'll do the same with SP's problems (like this one)
@laSoul I'm guessing it'll be some new parts, maybe islands, but an overhaul on a major part of the physics engine would probably take too much effort when they have a new game to work on
This is one of my only major deals with SP. Unfortunately (or fortunately) it seems like it'll have to wait for simpleplanes 2 with the announcement of simplerockets and probably only one more update to SP

I've found that with lower part counts it can allow a larger wingspan so maybe remove some parts and try again?
@CrazyCodeC yeah. That wingspan is probably bigger than iOS can handle :(

SAME. Unfortunately I do not know how to hide them
It's a really cool plane!
Congrats!

Irl you could probably do that but I doubt it would be a tank, probably just a quick unarmed thing. In SP tho anything is possible

@Sauce yes that's fine
SR still pretty much rules lol
Finally a quality post I can get behind
Looks great. Crashes my phone for some reason though. It's definitely not the part count so I'm not sure why
Cool, but you should probably make the elevators larger
@Booster456 flaps and airbrakes we can already make fairly easily. But flaperons, elevons and yaw/pitch control surfaces (ruddevators?) Would be very very useful
If reviewing, then less popular planes. If you're just going to show them off then popular planes
@Flightsonic here it is
@Flightsonic no, sorry. I'll see if I can look for it though
@Flightsonic ah, the perfect strategic advantage! They'll never know why that plane is flying at them backwards
This looks really cool! One thing tho, the red lights go on the left and the green go on the right lol
@MechWARRIOR57 are they worth the money? I was looking at a couple
I'd like to see this thing go up when it's ammo racked lol
Like in the parts list? I'm on iPhone and turned the UI size down to small and it fits a lot more parts. Not all but it saves some scrolling
Reminds me of a beetle with that shape and paint scheme
@KingDeadshot is the multiplayer mod finished? Also, they held back multiplayer because it wasn't coded with multiplayer in mind and they would have to re write nearly all of the game's code to make it possible
@Blitz75000 SALAMANDEEERR!
I mean. Not like modded guns are new or anything
Personally, I would give something with a futuristic turret like that a lower profile, bit that's hard to change at this point in the build and just imo. It still looks really good!
@SpiritusRaptor I missed by a long shot, but I aimed at write from Yeager and the game didn't feel like loading in the ocean haha
SP doesn't seem to agree with the big bertha
That fine tuner makes me so envious. There are buttons for things that take me hours to do :,(
This was pretty fun to drive around. Kind of resembles a military transport vehicle a little? It's pretty unique looking, I like it :)
Mobiles aren't allowed to download anything over 800 parts tho :(
Yeah, the cockpit wasn't attached to anything so it just fell. The plane looks good though, and that's an interesting concept with the main wings
And there's a ton of great A-10's on this site. Search for them and you should find them
link
Have a good time :)
Yeah that'd be cool
Just FYI you have a duplicate

mobile version
Not sure what had more fire. That engine or my phone lol. But this is amazing, it has just the right amount of detail
