@EternalDarkness. Thankyou for the walkthrough, I've tried to make them before but failed on my own, I'll see if I cant use these to make a more realistic vtol acft and not rely on wing phasing anymore
I'm a fan of making VTOL acft and helicopters aswell. It's more difficult to get right so not many people put in the time to do it. I'd say this test was a success so keep building on it.
I realized that I goofed on the vertical stabilizers on the tail. The bottom tail wings are inverted. Also the outboard rotors have an extra nozzle on the end due to a error while mirroring, my apologies
Hope you guys enjoy the ACFT, it's been a minute since I made a new VTOL model. Tell me what you all think and dont be afraid post any criticism or improvements I should consider for future models!
Nice design, making your own cockpit shape out of fuselage would be the cherry on top though. But the upvote is still earned here, I look forward to seeing more from you
Your blades are not what's causing the chopper to have lift, it's just your vtol nozzles pointed down. You might have to mess with some more rotating parts for your blades. I have a helicopter you can look at for some ideas ( MK-V block 2)
As someone who works on these every day in real life I am impressed. You nailed some details everyone else over looked on this game, hell you have the pylon platforms. All you need to add is a chin bubble, connect the engines to the aft pylon, and it would be next to perfect
@ASDFASDF1 how so? any issues youre having with flying the plane are encouraged to be commented so that I may better my next design instead of repeating a plane breaking flaw
@MDippold1995 for instructions on the plane, 30% thrust is good for 650 mph cruising, 60% is good for 900mph cruising, and 100% eats fuel with these engines on so use it sparingly.
@ASDFASDF1 while you're not wrong, you would need modded engines to bring it to that point. If I remember right it was at around 2800mph during low altitude flight that it started to have issues, much faster than this version can go ( 1200ish mph at low altitude). Anyways I hope you enjoyed flying it if you downloaded
@Zyvx I always appreciate the input man, I'm gonna see if I cant make another jet like this. I'm trying to make simple but good looking jets (less than 100 parts) for people on ios and android to enjoy. I'm still working on the ch 47 but its gonna take some time getting that right
@Zyvx sorry for the late reply but I dont get much time to play my games over in Afghani land. I appreciate all the support and hope that you continue to enjoy what I create. I'm hoping to make a CH-47 next as it's the aircraft I work on. Only time will tell if that will become a reality though, I cant just make any old 47, its gotta look superb, only problem... I stuck at making acft look good in this game
@Zyvx yeah I've been messing with it but to no avail. In my current version I have all the blades on rotators set to 35° and at the tip of the blades the vtol thrusters are on inverted rotators that are set to 35° aswell. This keeps the thrusters flat and focused on spinning like I planned, but it just doesn't want to take off :/

@Zyvx thankyou :)

Very noyce. You're really good at utilizing the gadgets man
Very nice, wish I had the patience for building ww1 style planes
@DJS8Corporations thankyou very much

Idk why but I like tinkering with this model. I might experiment with it more using some mods
@bcook333 rakkasan!
6 months active duty.... deploying in 2019.... still need to go to basic.... dafuq am I reading
@AverroesIndustries. Thankyou!

Very well made. I applaud you for your ingenuity and originality
Going mech crazy today I see
I wonder if the handling could be better though
An interesting design for sure
Very well done as always m8! Only question is when is the airwolf coming out?
A nicely done vtol jet, and it gives me some ideas for my own

I Always enjoy a good helicopter build

See if you cant get that wing loading down. The aircraft is stalling out whenever it pitches down

Favorite one yet. Makes me wonder if I can make a vtol version of this
Really digging the new infinite flyer line up
@Zyvx just uploaded a new version of the helicopter if you wanna check it out. Simple attack chopper mk II

@P0TET0Z it's a joke towards the original creator of the plane. We work in the same place and whenever someone messes up we all just say it
It's still a work in progress, I'm working to give pitch and vtol proper movements. Anyways, have fun
