Finally!!! Someone tilted the damn main rotor. Now if only the people building chinooks would do the same. You've earned this helicopter mechanics upvote
@Hyattorama not entirely sure, a buddy uploaded it about 7 months ago and said use this on some builds. I'm not too keen on the simple planes community but I cant seem to find sarpanitus profile; preventing me from confirming or denying, all I know is neither of us built it. Should I remove this acft ?
Ooo very nice, I love these FVL acft... Cant wait to see if this or the v280 gets the contract cause they both look great. Makes me wish I was born a little later really cause I'd love to work on a dual rotor but I'll have to be happy toiling away on my 47
So to clarify what I'm saying... 1: what contract is 6 months?... 2: how do you have deployment orders for a unit without making it through basic.. wait a minute let me rephrase that, making it TOO basic yet.... Yes you can wishlist a duty station but ffs dont go telling people you're gonna deploy with the 101st when you have no clue this is gonna happen, typical boot stuff my man
@DPSAircraftManufacturer thank you very much for compliment. I'm not to great at complex designs yet, but I'm thinking about getting the PC version to see if that helps.
@bcook333 I'm sorry to hear that. Im not entirely sure what's causing this for you but i'll be sure to write clearer instructions for my next aircraft to help aid beginner pilots enjoy my aircraft to their full extent so that this can be avoided if possible. If youd like to share in more detail the issues you are experiencing I'm sure I could fix them.
@SemedianIndustries three main things 1.)the side profile just seems... Off, especially the engine side. 2.) The parts constantly bump causing for choppy turns. 3.) (The biggest one) I can't get my airfoils to line up smoothly, if you look at the main wings they're kinda... Choppy and not aligned well
@BogdanX why dont you give it a shot. Not saying this in a spiteful way, Im just curious to see your take on getting those elusive curves by the intakes while keeping your typical part efficiency intact (around or below 500 parts)
Pretty boring build, but I dont play as much as I used to (helicopters break alot :/...) but I figured this would be a fun one, basic as it is. Learned a few wierd quirks in how the game calculates drag from this one (look at that nose bud)
@ChiChiWerx never thought to do drag reduction in lieu of power scaling; and I think I'm going to exclusively only mirror by part and not the entire plane, it seems to cause alot of issues. Anyways, thankyou very much for the advice, I'm looking to make a starfighter next so, (and maybe a redo of this) with the aforementioned improvements and some livery. Let's see how it goes
@AerialFighterSnakes damn, I never noticed that. I'll see what I can do to fix it for the next build(I'm trying to expand this to 350ish parts) I'm tired of using stock landing gear and I need to do livery on my planes; I cant just keep putting it off
I remember playing red alert 2 against brutal ai, 1v7 on arctic circle... they would spam the living hell out of these
+3This no small pp, this Big PP

+1@DPSAircraftManufacturer impressive, I like your utilization of realistic airfoils.

+1Macross series?
Interesting....
@Ergi , thankyou for the upvote
Side note, the gyro is located in front of the rotor pylon, so if you want the FASH to be stronger just increase it's stability and speed
Don't give up on it my man, I know you can build a better cockpit than that
@Potato21 about how much should I shrink them? Any ratios I could go off of (5x the height of the cockpit, etc)
