@ThatGuyWhoPlaysPlanes Absolutely, I only ask that you credit me in the description as well as Railfanethan. (The more train posts the better!) I will warn you that this is one of my oldest creations and had it’s fair share of problems. You might want to rework a few things such as the cab and the radiator grills.
@ThatGuyWhoPlaysPlanes Just as a heads up, I believe that 8888 was a 40-2? Correct me if I’m wrong… the main differences being the GP38-2 is non turbocharged and the 40-2 also has a much longer frame and has a 6-axle arrangement rather than a four. Also, 8888 had dynamic brakes.
I really like the design, it works well however, it is a chore to aim, partially due to the fact that the vehicle slowly turns itself. Is there anything that I am doing wrong or is this just a glitch with the good old SP physics?
@fineilldoitmyself I just wanted to say thank you for all of the support and the help with images in a somewhat “private” location so I just chose this post that doesn’t get much traffic anymore. Anyways I’m rambling, Thank you for taking the time to read this.
This is somewhat unrelated to this specific post, and for this I apologize. However, I would simply like to bring to light the “Simple Planes Trains” community to which most of my posts are intended for (Note, I do not want any recognition for this post if this happens) I have noticed over the past two years a steady decline in posts/downloads/comments in said sub-community and I think that this is due in part to the recent updates (removal of mods from mobile.) This inability to use mods such as the railway maps is what I believe drives many players away from building trains/rail bound vehicles, I say this as it makes the use of these vehicles nearly impossible and, without any reference, leaves mobile builders with no way to test there builds. I only ask that there rather be an option to use modded maps or, that there be some sort of rail system in incorporated into the game.
Sorry for rambling and thank you for taking the time to read this.
I don’t think this is actually the plane that crashed, the Superman was landed on the island of Canton and was left there for repairs, the plane he went down in was “The Green Hornet” which he was in whilst on a search and rescue mission, flying along side the green hornet was Dasiy May which then pulled ahead which is why they didn’t see the Green Hornet crash
@dontreadmyprofilepicture I saw your name in instinctively had to click on it on another post which brought me to your profile and I read the profile picture and I clicked on the aircraft and I read the description and I listen to the best song I’ve heard this week (yes I’ve heard it before I’m not completely uncultured I swear)
The Eagle has landed, sure it was nose first into a residential development killing 62 people and burning 23 homes to the ground... but a landing none the less...

Nice work!
Nice work on the body shape and details! It could however use some work on the suspension even if it is not functional.

Not bad for a first time-er
