I've just realized that one of the Guardian missiles must have gotten moved before I posted the airplane. The intended location is the one on the left wing. you may have to fix that yourself when you download it. Sorry about that.
It feels more realistic to fly, especially on takeoff. I think that far too often people overpower their planes that don't feel realistic to fly. I know that I make that mistake a lot, but this plane was actually very fun to fly and I felt like I was flying an airplane, not a missile. It did seem to have a case of spontaneous explosion every time I tried to land it, but that could have been due to user error.
Nope @JoddyFubuki788, I built this from scratch using the blueprint function in the build editor and an image from google. However, I have seen your corsairs, and I must say they are also pretty impressive.
@STEAMYcrosby of course
Hey, pretty cool!
@STEAMYcrosby go for it! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

@Tang0five no, I just played with the handling until it felt semi-realistic. Thanks for the support!
@Obtheplanedestroyer the helper text that pops up should say "Pointless Switch." I thought it would be funny :)
It is a very nice aircraft. Thanks for sharing it with us.
@MonoPlanes No problem.
Try inverting those four inner controll surfaces so that they act as flaps. Right now they are pushing down on the plane whenever you try to pitch up.
+1You could fit an actual horse under that hood...
You did a good job of making a very complicated airplane with a relatively low number of parts. Good part efficiency.
This is exactly what I needed. Thanks!
+1I actually didn't mean to upload the missile on tue bottom, but I was testing some stuff and forgot to take it off.
The secret to a good airplane?
Make it shiny.
But seriously though, good job on this.
Somebody should post a link to a video of it for people with potato phones like me.
+1Good job!
+1This is really good for a first. Good job.

Thanks @HeavyC22
Thanks @SupremeDorian
I appreciate it.
@WSindistries @ThePilotDude @Mustang51 Thanks for the advice. I will definitely try to fix those things in my future builds.
+1Yeah, @WSindrustries I agree. In order to get the speed to be realistic the acceleration had to be too fast. I'll try to fix that next time.
Yeah @TrislandianAlliance totally right. A plane ahead of it's time, but with some real flaws. It was fun to make tho.
Thanks @Tang0five
@spefyjberf it was actually a M-21 that the drone was mounted to, but the M-21 and the SR-71 are very similar. This is a very nice build
I dunno @masotan15 yours is pretty dang good.
Yes, @Subnerdica but they're mostly aesthetic because they can't be used for air-to-air combat. I added them to make it more authentic.

Thanks @luckypab, I've seen some of your airplanes, and they're pretty awesome too!
