I had this book that detailed it, the wing separates from where you implemented the last black line on the wing. Here is a model depiction. here
@RamboJutter
That’s what BA does, the main issue is, with apple policy would mean mods such as underwater, metric conversion, in-game XML and such would need to be a feature of the game rather than mods. Things like downloadable maps and parts aren’t possible with how the SP iOS folder is structured.
@InternationalAircraftCompany
Primarily mobile Battle Academy, downloading scenario “mods” from the community website, with no difference in available content from the PC version. @WNP78
And yes, BA’s folder setup here is significantly more different to SP’s, I would like to point that out. All scenario bundles are placed in data folder.
Downloaded functional assets (with the the codes needed for that function.) is possible but not with the way the game is currently structured.
To have iOS support mod installing, it would be a hassle to just move all the assets and attributes to the data folder and make the game functional. They might as well make SP 2.0 if they were to do this. The hassle is not worth the satisfaction of what’s only a small bit of the community.
They could have, just wouldn’t be bothered to. I wouldn’t even bother to if I’m a dev.@WNP78
@WNP78
Specify what you meant by "Mods are not iOS applications". SP in current state is not DLUC compatible in any way. An iOS application structure is rather relevant when it comes to the user content flexibility.
"
download, install, or execute code which introduces or changes features or functionality of the app, including other apps
"
Additional functional assets is excluded from this limitation, otherwise we'd see a whole lot less applications on the App store.
Regarding Mods as an App Store application, that will just blatantly get rejected.
@WNP78
All Applications on iOS devices have 2 files, a "data" file and a "main" file. Functionality of objects can be imported into data file in those games, and all of them do contain them in the data file. However with where SP's assets are located, installing a theoretical compatible additional asset is impossible currently without root access.
And nobody would bother to move the asset file to the new location.
AND, nobody would be bothered to make iOS mods.
@WNP78 Aye.
New models and maps are in the least better than none. Although I have seen iOS games with "mods" that completely adds new functions to gameplay. Weapons bay, instruments, vickers are fine as they do not introduce new strings into the application source code.
Mods on IOS could work in two ways,
1 : Jailbreak, but that's as good as no modding at all.
2 : Make mod downloads in game, in ways that Battle Academy has done it, in ways RC simulator has done it, or in the way MCPE did it. Technically, additional downloadable packages are contractually legal as long as the end user is not required to have root access to install those packages. Big and small companies does it.
Windmills can always be removed from maywar, just like PC low graphic setting.
Preference. I have fiddled around with custom surfaces but didn’t like it. Still goes the weight and drag issue alongside aeoerons sticking out of the wing or underperforming. I am on IOS.
@EternalDarkness
Check the tags.
not the best, but sure.
”Do not touch AG-5”
It would be rude not to.
nice

I think you can find a good few if you search it up on the site. @TitanIncorporated
You forgot that the wing extends outward.

Nice
that’s two small landing gear XD
Could you make a P-40? Haven’t seen one of those in a long while.
absolute 10/10. Nice

SP iOS downloading user content is possible, it just requires a lengthy overhaul. Again, not worth it.

no? @WarHawk95
That is illegal, since apple specifically states no app can inflict changes on another app.

Explain that to the other games then.
Would be nice to have updated old planes. Although understandeable.

Come to think about it, games that require lengthy data download time post-download does come as strange...
