@Gameboi14 I was once scared the crap out of by a crack of thunder that sounded like a nuke going off. The lightning can get pretty crazy too, and when it rains it usually pours.
@ThomasRoderick Closer to the second, since the launch platform was spawned on 'Maywar Takeoff' and the convoy was very close, the wire is nearly parallel with the green targeting line. (advanced targeting mod). If you look closely at that line, you might spot the wire.
@ThomasRoderick Yes and that's for a very specific reason. You see these things are designed to recreate the function of launching an explosive payload on a ballistic course via launching bombs via detachers. Normally, I would need to use an Activation group to launch the payload since the missile would count as 'detached' once launched. The winch prevents this, allowing a launch while keeping it attached. This allows the bombs to be launched as described in the directions, basically like how you would normally launch bombs from an aircraft.
Interesting design, flies really well too! You forgot to mention it has VTOL abilities too. Just a tip, always put the full directions of operations (particularly when using activation groups) in your description.
Here's another trick that might help with selecting attachment nodes! Zooming out as far as you can tends to help with selecting them. The node circles get larger, and when zoomed out enough clicking them tends to work!
@TinyBearTim Engines and Control Surfaces are fully functional even when NOT attached to the aircraft (i.e. to the cockpit or anything attached to the cockpit). This allows you to build/copy an entire extra unattached plane next to your main one and have it be fully working.
You may very well be the best airliner builder on the site. Though it helped that I was using a good old joystick the experience of flying from Yeager to Wright in the cockpit camera was quite nice! This thing flies smooth if a bit slow, and is just loaded with details. I wasn't even expecting the engine cowling to open up for the reverse thrust! Overall, awesome build!
Oh! Here's a tip for reducing lag, for visual details (such as the white lines on the deck) it's a good idea to (via Overload/xml modding) set 'calculateDrag' to false and 'disableAircraftCollisions' to true. A lot of what taxes a computer/device is collisions and drag calculations as demonstrated here.
@Axartar I can relate to wanting to keep a build low-lag while also trying to make it look good. I can say for what you had you did really well overall!
Cool build! The Submarine's pretty fun to use, goes so fast it can leap out of the water like a dolphin! I like the cabinet full of parts on the deck, nice attention to detail there alongside the superstructure. Having a docking port in the front is a nice touch, makes me think of 'submarine tender' as being a good role alongside the usual carrier functions.
@small1324 That powers a set of nozzles inside the sub which simulate Ballast control. The engines are xml modded to have just enough power to act upon the subs neutral buoyancy. It can make the sub go straight up and down in the water, like how a real submarine fills its ballast tanks with air or water to sink or float. But their power is low enough to where this sub can't leave the water.
If you want to remove that part feel free to, you'll still be able to control depth via pitch. For any other parts you can remove, try the red parts on the lower front hull, they have no function outside of aesthetics. NOT the red engine pods though, or you'll remove those engines. Though that could be another way to cut the part count, though it would make it slower. But you can be sure the red pieces in the hull won't affect anything function wise if removed. :) I hope this helps!
@Keopongpisith You can find your mod files (alongside aircraft files) if you go to your C drive, click Users, click your name, click on AppData, click on LocalLow, click on Jundroo, click simpleplanes, and you'll find those files.
I think another good upload time might be in the evening on Fridays and Weekends. Peeps will most likely be on since they'll be off school/work then. Just my theory anyway, hope it helps!
This is quite the fun little tank! Fast and nimble yet quite controllable, handling well on the offroad even on hills. I really love how the turret operates, full range of motion, movement almost completely independent of the main body, and all mapped to the the pitch and roll controls.
This is probably the best working tank I've ever downloaded! Everyone who makes tanks should make them like this!
@Kimcotupan15 It's an awesome mod! Used it myself for my latest submarine, along with the plane it launches! A gift from the gods to all replica builders!
@VeryUnprofession There's a link to a 1.8 fix for the underwater camera mod on its mod page. Also good catch, it's more or less a simulation of active sonar and its function. That being to precisely pinpoint a target in water.
Beautiful remaster! I remember downloading the original Mig-3 you made, I was impressed then and I'm even more now! Love what you did with the cockpit view too, taking a page from Weaverfish's book.
@FOXLOVER @Alienbeef0421 Turns out you were both right! Sure enough I encountered those same lights in the air, and a closer look revealed it to indeed be an aircraft!
If you're using the Rocket weapon as a base for the weapon, it will naturally self destruct after a certain time. In XML terms it's called 'selfDestructTimer' and can be changed for those who can XML mod.
If anyone's having trouble selecting attachment nodes here's a tip that might help. I've found that angling the camera to where your click only falls on the node (blue circle) helps. Specifically making sure that it can't highlight the object itself when your trying to select attachment points.
In my experience it helps make sure it doesn't select the first object as your second, also helps in selecting the second object. This may help you specifically @jamesPLANESii
@WNP78 I think is mod is (somehow) conflicting with the Upload with Screenshots Mod. Ever since I downloaded this I've been having crashes. troubleshooting has found that the crashing stopped once I disabled that mod.
@Gameboi14 No problem! In fact I'm quite happy to see my build used here.

+1@LancasterAce Here you go! Really hope this works for you, if not I'm really sorry, and also tired.
+1Preeeeetty.
+1@LancasterAce Check this out! also credit to Minecraftpoweer for the upvote and comment shortcuts, only took me too long how to figure them out!

+1@Tang0five That is true! So I think I'll go with the Vanguard.
+1@Tang0five By resize I mean the size of the faces specifically, not length of course.
+1@Freerider2142 If you do, I'll certainly make another attempt at this!
+1@Freerider2142 I tried it!
+1@Freerider2142 Oh I will, I'll post a screenshot of the results!
