... Honestly, why do we even have these discussions? It's kinda pointless. I know a comment such as killing yourself is a big problem... But honestly, why are we arguing over something as pointless as this? I do have to agree, though, the constant notifications to people to find your boat, while effective, is rather spammy.... I manage with only a few posts outlining what I'm going to build, the actual aircraft, and then posts on the forums and sub-reddit so people can find it, and can easily get half the people if I build a good enough aircraft. But I will also say this: I do take personal insult for the modding meaning you have no skill. I mod frequently, and often that takes more skill than building without any modding at all. To be able to XML mod, you need at least rudimentary coding skills to understand the code, and the average joe coding skills for making builds such as this YF-23. I had frustrations with that for over a week, and that was all for a fully functioning stabilator V-tail, which in practice should be easy to make, but it's not. And even then, the plane will still have a tendancy to explode if the pitch and yaw are used too hard, which can't be fixed, even with the mighty powers of XML modding, without ruining the looks of the aircraft completely, because one rotator can't support two directions. I simply use XML modding as a tool to do the otherwise impossible, or, in my case, do something that is impossible on my macbook until the 1.3 update, nudging(which is hardly cheating when PC users get to do it while my macbook can't do it at all), and make even better looking aircraft. Also, I still take pity for mobile users... I still use a mobile device, and is currently my XML modding tool. But I'm not going back. In the span of 2 month with XML modding, I finally got past the ever hard to break silver, and have finally gotten to 2,000 + points. I earned more points in those 2 months with XML modding than my entire time after points were introduced almost a year ago. It's the only reason where I am now, and where I'm going to be continuing going.
Also, your claim with Vietnam being where warbirds are is actually... Incorrect. At that time, all fighter aircraft had missiles, and even had over the horizon missiles(though they were simi guided, not fire and forget). Sure, they could only be shot when you were behind the aircraft in the case of the AIM-9, but they
... Dude, calm down, first off. Second off, How easy to you think it is to keep updating all 4 platforms at the same time? And not only that, but for multiple different stores as well(Gumroad for PC, Gumroad and Mac app store for OS X, Google play store and amazon store for Andriod, and App store for iOS) until they pulled the PC and OS X versions into one place(Steam). They tried to do a release all at the same time with 4 platforms and 5-6 stores, for 3 consecutive updates(1.0, 1.1, 1.2). But at this point, doing that is no longer a viable or cost efficient option. Let's face it, they were lucky to do it with 1.2, and they just can't do the same with 1.3. PC and OS X are easier to develop for due to their vastly superior processing power, and don't need to be very well refined and packaged to run well on a computer. They don't need to be optimized as heavily. Mobile users, though, for the most part, have lower end processor and storage than most computers, and need to be vey optimized in order to run well on a variety of devices. The high end devices are almost low-end gaming PC's in their own right(iPad Air 2, iPad Pro), but most people have mid to low end devices, which don't take well to power intensive games such as Simple planes.
TL;DR- Wether you like it or not, schedules like these will likely become more and more common as the game becomes more and more power intensive. There really is no point in arguing. Be happy they haven't dropped mobile devices entirely. I could be wrong, though. But as said before, they simply couldn't do what they've done before in the previous updates.
I'm not a developer, but I will say you are wrong. That is actually the old land before some time ago when it turned into the island(now two) that we know today. As for it being a easter egg, IDK.
Well, it's ok. I mean, performance doesn't really matter, as I did mention realisticness, which both of yours do a pretty good job of(Edit: Well, as realistic as AC is ;) )
@MediocrePlanes Lol. Meh, The only reason I've done an exceptional job with mine is because I had the time and because I'm one of those people who like to do a good job rather than build realitively old things.
Well, you can do it, if me making it with weapons spoils it. You can call me up though if you need any help... There is a lot of things I can do with a jailbroken iPad mini first gen and a Macbook with SP 1.3
@AeroAvionics23 Haven't actually flown it yet, but it looks really amazing. It's like really late for me (1 am in the morning, lol). So I'm going to sleep and make a upload of this with guns and stuff in the morning.
Well, unfortunately, for the longest period, the only form of multiplayer would be mod based, and it is far from ready to be released to the public. And yeah.
@General360 Well, it was mostly with the previous upload by @DeezDucks . I mean, the aircraft is really good, overall, but I was kinda annoyed with the slow stopping speed. Really wanted to land this on USS Beast ;( . So why not add airbrakes!
This is actually a great thing, though going sideways with your aircraft doesn't necessarily mean it will fall out of the sky. Sure, with most prop aircraft, this will be the case, but not with jets. Any jet with a thrust to weight ratio of more than 1, they will tend to stay at the same altitude they are turning at, and in some cases, actually gain altitude!
Also, air brakes work fine, and some aircraft can have the brakes on the wheels applied imeaditly(My Morgan being one of them)
@Cipher Yeah, IK. I mean, like I said, it's optional. And I may remove it if need be. Plus I'd have to figure out the bracket setup for such a challenge.
@SyntaxError Note I said fully. Windows Vista can still run it(actually, it was shown windows XP worked to a limited degree, but issues with processing power on any machine using it was usually the case), but some functionality will not be availible because some of the scripts are likely incompatable with windows vista.
Looks nice. Will try it later :)
Macbook air means you need to get the 1.3 update on steam, as that means your running OS X.
And this will probably spoil what I may or may not build next...

Welcome to the website! Here's points to get you started.
I'm not a developer, but I will say you are wrong. That is actually the old land before some time ago when it turned into the island(now two) that we know today. As for it being a easter egg, IDK.
What do you expect? They currently don't have recoil.
@DeezDucks Ok >:)
@DeezDucks Could you be more clear with that? Don't really know which one you chose :/ . Also, finally, someone comments!
Looks good.
@AeroAvionics23 No, I don't know what your asking, lol
... You should have gotten an email with a free steam key attached.
uhh.... what?
the option to turn off RCN is now tied to activation group 8.
np
Just to get you started.
Just to get you started. Also, welcome to the website!
Congratulations! You might get to platinum at one point, but that'll be a while...
@DeezDucks Oh well. I mean, the only things they give me is points, for the most part :/
... Actually a decent idea.
Well, it's ok. I mean, performance doesn't really matter, as I did mention realisticness, which both of yours do a pretty good job of(Edit: Well, as realistic as AC is ;) )
@MediocrePlanes Saw it. Actually flew it a little. It's nice, and similar to what a MIG's handling should be. Nice job.
@MediocrePlanes Lol. Meh, The only reason I've done an exceptional job with mine is because I had the time and because I'm one of those people who like to do a good job rather than build realitively old things.
@MediocrePlanes Ok.
@MediocrePlanes Don't count on it, nobody else has joined just yet, lol. But yeah, profile pic looks good.
@AeroAvionics23 I will. it'll probably be when I wake up(as stated before, it's like 1 AM, almost 2 AM in the morning where I am, lol)
@AeroAvionics23 Yeah, a littile instability when it's just after take-off, but eh, that's if you keep pitching up too much.
Yeah, I noticed it was unstable as well. And slowish... but eh, what can you expect from a prop engine?
Well, I got it to take off... But I had to constantly pull back on the stick, or otherwise the nose rammed the prop into the ground, lol
Hmm.... I VOW TO MAKE THIS WITH WEAPONS! ... Tomorrow morning, lol.
Well, unfortunately, for the longest period, the only form of multiplayer would be mod based, and it is far from ready to be released to the public. And yeah.
@DeezDucks I don't know anymore, XD. I'm still new to this challenge stuff.
@General360 Well, it was mostly with the previous upload by @DeezDucks . I mean, the aircraft is really good, overall, but I was kinda annoyed with the slow stopping speed. Really wanted to land this on USS Beast ;( . So why not add airbrakes!
Sure, why not? I'll probably be limiting it to 3 or something, though.
Well, I've tested it. Seems good for a small scale version of the aircraft.
Looks good. I'll test it later.
@DeezDucks Ok
what @Shmexysmpilot said
No promises as yet. You'll just have to wait like every other mobile user(I'm having to wait too)
@Cipher Meh, I'll probably just remove it until the AI becomes a bit smarter. It was a good idea in concept, though.

That's the thing about the game. You can make builds that should defy logic, if the physics supports it.
@SyntaxError Uhh... You do realize that you need windows 7 for SP to fully function, right?
Ok, edit to the rules. It does not have to be a successor to the challenge, but you have to tag me in the aircraft you want.
2 second gap...
