Sharp looking aircraft inside and out, flies really well in VR.
Here's a link to a short you tube video showcasing it on my channel.
Thanks for building this one.
@TheGliderGuy Yet another good glider :) I'm always impressed with your attention to detail when I compare them to photographs. I noticed that this one has flaps. I took it up into the VR skies and it flies well. Do you use a VR headset ?
Great Ultralight helicopter, love flying around in this :)
Here's a short you tube vid I made of some flight...Thanks for building !

@TheGliderGuy Another good build :) I just took this one and the Ash 25 out in VR for some comparison, the Discus seems a little more stable and maintains it's altitude for longer periods. The Ash 25 feels a little heavier and you need to employ more yaw during flight to keep it on it's path. I'm guessing that's because of it's longer wingspan. I like them both, Thanks for sharing.
@TheGliderGuy No Problem :) I fly around in the winch launched glider so you might see that one on You Tube at some point. Thanks for posting these peaceful craft !
@bruhmoment99 OK found it :) Thanks again for adding that, this has become one of my favourite ultralight aircraft in SPVR, you really feel like you're up there with the birds.
I was looking at some photo's and blueprints of the X-14 online and your build looks pretty authentic.
Nice ultralight, challenging but great once you get the hang of it. Does it have around 15 minutes worth of fuel ? It cuts out on me mid flight and I have to glide her down, it's done that a few times now.
Looks and flies great in VR by the way :)
This handles great in VR !
Low altitude flying through the mountain terrain is a lot of fun. Thanks for building.
Are you planning on making more for VR ?
@BangRou Thanks for the response. I'm a bit of a newbie to simpleplanes so I'm still educating myself, for instance, I'd never heard of propeller pitch until I looked at your plane. Anyways, nice work !
Nice build with an interesting start up procedure. I'm curious, is that the way a lot of WW1 planes fired up their engines ? It works great in VR by the way !

@TheGliderGuy Thanks, i'll look out for that and take it up for a spin !
@TheGliderGuy How's it going :) Yeah, still up in those VR skies, been perfecting my helicopter skills. Any new glider builds ?
