    @Geekpride I'd hope not. I'm plum tired of shakers.

    @Sauce Nah. Just frustrated at the fact I almost had a chance, then gliders that aren't even gliders steal the tournie :\ Not cool.

  • Leave shakers out of the next glider tournament, or give them their own. Here's why. 7.7 years ago

    @EternalDarkness Wow. We agree on something-- I'm actually kinda' surprised XD

  • *Slow clap...* 7.7 years ago

    @Geekpride It's kinda' funny how your only argument is against a figure of speech :P

  • *Slow clap...* 7.7 years ago

    @Geekpride Slapping on a few weights onto a wing and exploiting how the game functions is not engineering. Everyone can do it, but it's a glider tournament, not a shaker tournament, two very different functions, mind you.
    And maybe Garrison needs to rethink his position. Sure it's final for this race, but maybe he'll think twice this next time.
    Shakers suck. They're not gliders, they do not function as gliders. I can give you the definition of a glider. In fact, here:
    glid·er
    ˈɡlīdər/
    noun
    1.
    a light aircraft that is designed to fly for long periods without using an engine.
    2.
    a person or thing that glides.
    "the flying lemur is an efficient glider as well as climber"

    Might I refer you to the first context. "without using and engine."
    en·gine
    ˈenjən/Submit
    noun
    1.
    a machine with moving parts that converts power into motion.
    The glitching, internally generated momentum provided by the glitch easily falls under the description of an engine, converting the power of the glitch into motion, which it obviously does.
    Shakers are cheating trash. They are not gliders and do not belong in glider tournaments. If you're so intent on using shakers, then make a separate tournament for them. Don't glitch in here with your powered flight and screw up my glider tournament.

  • *Slow clap...* 7.7 years ago

    @Tully2001 I got to 2:18 before leaving it like it was. My morale sorta' tanked around that time XD
    @MechWARRIOR57 Finally we see eye-to-eye!
    @MrSilverWolf I've seen it. It's almost like a warp drive, dare I say. You can look at the tournament bracket and click on any of the heats with a shaker in it. It'll take you to the heat information and give you a link to the tournament stream, and play that specific part of the match.

  • Mehgjik-3-18 'Riyu-Elisa' 7.7 years ago

    @Zkillerwolfe Ah, I gotcha.

  • *Slow clap...* 7.7 years ago

    @Tully2001 Finally, someone understand what I'm talking about! :D

  • *Slow clap...* 7.7 years ago

    @MrMecha I understand, thanks :D
    @AstleyIndustries Yeah-- they don't exploit buggy physics in the game, but rather work with the physics to gain an advantage. That's real engineering.
    @Testin123 Texas: Where everything's bigger!
    @spefyjerbf They may be cleaver, but I judge true engineering not by how you surpass, manipulate or exploit parts of the game to make something work, but rather how you wield the forces that be. That's a lot harder, and a lot more respectable in my book, but I do just as well see your PoV.
    @GINGER01 Mhmm-- sure. I don't much like your attitude either, chap :\ Tact, chap. Tact.

  • *Slow clap...* 7.7 years ago

    @GINGER01 T_T Okay yeh, I get it-- no. I'm too busy, so shush- I'm not salty that I lost. I've lost 100 other tournaments. I'm salty I lost to a bunch of cheaters.

  • *Slow clap...* 7.7 years ago

    @MrMecha Aye, thank you, friend. I don't mean to come across being so salty-- but... You understand where I'm coming from. I already don't have a chance against KiNo, now this? XD I can't win!

  • *Slow clap...* 7.7 years ago

    @GINGER01 A shaker is an aircraft that exploits a glitch in the game that causes the aircraft to shake violently, but doesn't rip the aircraft apart. A well-made shaker is capable of shaking its way through Eagle pass in under 53 seconds. And I've taken plenty of time away. I only join when I need to test a new design on other people or if I think I actually have a chance. I don't like being cheated, Ginger.

  • Mehgjik-3-18 'Riyu-Elisa' 7.7 years ago

    How'd you detach the tail...? Mods 'er something?

  • Eagle Pass 7.7 years ago

    @Hockeygoalie21 Aaaand how does that help anything? XD I accept we have no chance! That's why I said "Grats"

  • Eagle Pass 7.7 years ago

    Welp. Here goes literally nothing! Grats to the shake planes. You've already won.

  • X-27 - Eagle 7.7 years ago

    @xXCrazyPlaneCreatorXx Well thank you much ^^; Might I suggest my more recent swing wing work? It works better :D

  • Eagle Pass 7.7 years ago

    @Quintasoarus "Shaker" tournament is more like it.

  • Eagle Pass 7.7 years ago

    @Visify I don't like using glitches or mods. They feel too. . . . Unrealistic. You couldn't do that in real life, so I don't really count it as legitimate engineering :\

  • Eagle Pass 7.7 years ago

    @Zkillerwolfe Well them I'm screwed, aren't I? That's what I get for trying to do things legit.

  • Eagle Pass 7.7 years ago

    @Generalkeath Heck if I know, else I would have made one. Since you can complete Eagle Pass in less than a minute with a glitchy plane, I've not got a chance here, and neither do most of us :\

  • Eagle Pass 7.7 years ago

    @TheRedStormer I don't remember asking you :\

  • Eagle Pass 7.7 years ago

    Glitch planes and gliders capable of -53. I've got no chance, do I? Like-- actually no chance whatsoever. Should I even try? :U

  • Eagle Pass 7.7 years ago

    @Zkillerwolfe Wow, you're a bit hostile, eh? I missed it yes, but do you really have to be so jerky? I don't get why, though. How is a glitching wiggle-plane any fair to race against? Why not legit gliders only? Seriously, I've got no chance as it is without glitches all about.

  • Eagle Pass 7.7 years ago

    @GrumpyRacing Shakers are being disqualified, though D: Garrison said he'd be disqualifying them.

  • Eagle Pass 7.7 years ago

    Anyone willing to share their best times so far?

  • Eagle Pass 7.7 years ago

    @AndrewGarrison Thank you, sire! Gives us a fair fight.

  • Any SP aircraft capable of Mach 5 and up? 7.7 years ago

    @Delphinus Thank you much! Keep me posted and I'll do the same for you.
    @Spikerya We have our friction.
    @XT1L Alas, yes, XML modding is modding.
    @Tully2001 This is true. I'm trying mach 5 at sea-level. all of my modern fighters actually have 2 engines.
    @Visify I have tried that! I just can't them close enough together.
    @RedHawk This is very true-- I've tried a few designs with hardly any drag, but there's a massive issue is with stability, ironically enough.

  • Any SP aircraft capable of Mach 5 and up? 7.7 years ago

    @Delphinus Alas, I can't accept that-- I've gotta' do it without mods :\
    @MechWARRIOR57 I'd say the same about you :P

  • Any SP aircraft capable of Mach 5 and up? 7.7 years ago

    @Delphinus Depends. Is it modded?
    @MechWARRIOR57 Might need to work on your perception. And an ultimatum is, in short, "Quit this, or else." And just cause you're getting a little angry doesn't mean you need to be passive-aggressive :P

  • Hypersonic Challange 7.7 years ago

    Which entries here are NOT modded? I'm not here for the challenge-- I'm just in search of a vanilla mach 5 experiment.

  • Any SP aircraft capable of Mach 5 and up? 7.7 years ago

    @MechWARRIOR57 I'm getting a very passive-aggressive vibe from you. If you're angry with me, at least come out and say it. I gave you an ultimatum what-- three times now?
    And that wasn't sarcasm, lol. You'd know it if it was, and that was not it.

  • Any SP aircraft capable of Mach 5 and up? 7.7 years ago

    @MechWARRIOR57 Have fun.

  • Any SP aircraft capable of Mach 5 and up? 7.7 years ago

    @MechWARRIOR57 Then stop answering. Why is this so hard for you to understand? Either bring something to my attention you haven't said before, or just stop trying. I don't listen to "You can't without. . ." or "Just use mods." You know very well by now in our last encounters I don't accept these as valid answers.

  • Any SP aircraft capable of Mach 5 and up? 7.7 years ago

    @MechWARRIOR57 I'm sorry, bu your answer falls under the category "don't answer" you may either hang up or try again.

  • Any SP aircraft capable of Mach 5 and up? 7.7 years ago

    @MechWARRIOR57 I'll make it simple.
    Do one of the following when "answering my question":

    Give me a definitive "yes."
    Give me a lead to go on "I don't know, but here's a concept."
    Actually tell me how to do it.

    If none of these can be achieved, don't answer.
    EDIT: Without mods. You know my policy on mods.

  • Any SP aircraft capable of Mach 5 and up? 7.7 years ago

    @MechWARRIOR57 I will. I showed you with the catapult, I showed you with VTOL. Just-- unless you can quit saying "Not without mods or a pile of engines" like a broken record, I'm going to have to ask you kindly to shut up, because I don't want to hear it.

  • Any SP aircraft capable of Mach 5 and up? 7.7 years ago

    @MechWARRIOR57 I'm sorry, but I'm tired of hearing about what you think is "not possible" or "improbable". I never asked what you can't do, I want to hear what you can do! Quit being so close-minded, you bummer.

  • Eagle Pass 7.7 years ago

    I'm conflicted. I can either keep my glider a secret and have a shot at winning-- or reveal my tips and tricks and help other players---- but then instantly get beat out by everyone, their brother and their little dog, too....
    Moral dilemma on SP. I don't like this.

  • The Dragon 7.7 years ago

    Wasn't KiNo? Surprising.

  • X-27 - Eagle 7.7 years ago

    @xXCrazyPlaneCreatorXx How so? :O

  • [Avian Air Forces] LCAS - 'Karussa Dav'ai' 7.8 years ago

    @xXCrazyPlaneCreatorXx Danke, much! :3

  • [Avian Air Forces] LCAS - 'Karussa Dav'ai' 7.8 years ago

    @Frant24 Thanks! And I dunno, you're the one using it XD

  • Any known way to stop "wing wobble"? 7.8 years ago

    @MechWARRIOR57 Ya'll gotta' start tinkering more :\ Doesn't work? Fix it.

  • This is stupid... 7.8 years ago

    Eew, no. No demons for me, thanks.

  • Any known way to stop "wing wobble"? 7.8 years ago

    @MechWARRIOR57 Here's the thing: I fixed it! WITHOUT MODS! HAH!
    If I remember rightly, you said the same thing about a launcher. Did that one, too. Without mods. Open your mind and tinker, man! Mods are kinda' cheap if you use them for everything.

  • [Avian Air Forces] LMRAS - 'Vechtges'sung II' 7.8 years ago

    @xXCrazyPlaneCreatorXx Glad you think so, thank you! I try to make them look familiar and sleek enough to look like a functional jet-- but alien enough know-- hey-- this is flown by bird people.

  • Any known way to stop "wing wobble"? 7.8 years ago

    @AudioDud3 Already figured all that out-- issue is, it's hard to avoid larger wings! Thanks anyway!

  • CruisejetV2 7.8 years ago

    @OscarV Wonderful! Keep it up.

  • How to make a "softer" trim? 7.8 years ago

    @ThatOnion How annoying.

    @MonsterSlayer Wow, where'd you learn that? I don't know if it's true, but it sure sounds like it.

  • Any known way to stop "wing wobble"? 7.8 years ago

    @TheOwlAce @KDS @Avro683Lancaster @Delphinus @Feanor

    Aye guys It's fixed!! I was able to get the structural wings and fuselage ribs to connect properly! Thank ya'll!
