@PapaKernels so happy to hear that! Never got the smoothing thing, maybe because I only play on my phone. How can I 'smooth' it?
Also looking forward to seeing other entries!
@PapaKernels Thank you! I looked at the contest again and the amount of drag points are way too much. I can try and lower it but I make use of the drag to make a car handle a certain way (the whole bottom tub is made from wings for downforce and better handling for example) so I prefer to leave it the way it is as I tested it this way. I hope that this isn't too much of a problem.
Really cool build! Looks great and the suspension is nice too!
Maybe use a little more sideways grip and smaller steering angle to prevent understeer. Also the acceleration is too much for good offroading. Maybe look in to changing the max angular velocity or turn rate on the wheels. No criticism, just small tips to hopefully help you in the future.
@winterro love the idea but I don't think it'll produce enough torque(hope that's the right word, not a native English speaker). When you try and up the speed either by using another one of the big gears or too many 8 to 12 gears it'll jam
Made a better gear system though. A bit is displayed at the ballet dancer already. Still a few problems to tackle though, but I'll keep you updated. Do you feel like trying to do a V configured piston engine? That'd be awesome if your could make that work!
Try editing it without the gyro to get more of a 'car feel'.
Also maybe you can put a symmetric wing banked at 10° in the spoiler to push the rear down after going over small bumps.
Other then that not a bad car at all! Keep up the good work and tag me when you do an update!
@DEN12345 I think you're right again. It'll probably handle better with a stiff rear axle, and softer front suspension and the brake balance set more to the front. With the high splitter it can kinda dip into corners that way
@DEN12345
I've been doubting about the suspension but decided this worked better when landing after being airborne, but you're right though. Next version it'll be stiffened.
Also I associate the street style tyres with slicks so I think I'll keep those
Thanks for looking at it, I can always count on you for appreciating my work!
Maybe try moving the rear wheels all the way to the back, right beneath the spoiler.
If you don't want to change the exterior try putting thrusters or jet engines at the front facing downwards, and make them small enough not to be seen.
Might try to fix it myself later, but hope one of these tips helps
@gt33 the R version is pretty much done, and the follow up, the GTR, is also close. After that though i'll come with a clubsport version with some radical changes to the aero package. Im not even close to finishing it but it's gonna be my best car ever!
Looks cute and aggressive at the same time! Like my cat!
+1Awesome handling!
+1This is a really good car!
@StarryNightLover let me know if I should tune it in between building! Good luck!
+1@StarryNightLover mate if you finish the exterior I'll handle the driving properties like we said before. Don't worry about it and just send me it!
+1@PapaKernels and the Grosjeans in the world are thankful for it!
+1@ayou2005 removed the other one because this is the one entering the contest. Thanks for the support though!

+1@NikoBellic told you, game's on mate haha
+1Thanks, you're a big reason for me becoming silver! Can't wait till you have time to do more builds!
Excited little bonker
+1Cool car man! I made an edit with improved handling, is it okay that I upload it?

@winterro next to that I think you'll need an army of gyros to keep it stable with the VTOL engines

Another sample of how my testing with gears is going :)

+1Almost 40 downloads, 0 tips. Might be a lost project :( @NikoBellic
+1@NikoBellic @DEN12345 thanks again for keeping me motivated guys!
+1@NikoBellic haha it's on! First to reach gold can name anything and the other should build as a friendly bet?
+1I biuld you something. Hope you like it:

+1@NikoBellic no problem. You deserve them!

Next up is making a clutch system and maybe even gears. Hope you like it!
@ImAGoodFriend started to make a driving axle by adding gears and noticed that too. How did you fix it?

@mLk17 Thanks mate!

+1Doesn't autocredit for some reason
Nice design!!
+1Try playing around with hinge speed and angles, maybe even mods
Works great for drifting btw!
Nice!
+1@Rocketguy2079 I'm back!!
@JustDragon haha chuck norris plane
Try using pitch instead of throttle! Drifting is playing around with the gas paddle a lot which makes it pretty much impossible
@KitsuneassemblylinesKAL tag me if you do an update!
@JustDragon TBM 850 if you take suggestions :)
Nice! Maybe put some springs on the wheel bars to prevent them from flipping? (Or easier put a max angle on the rotator)
Nice!
@Rocketguy2079 to prevent rolling so it handles better. Also relatively shorter wheelbase so it steers sharper!
