The M97 was developed to provide a very well performing vehicle, for a lesser cost than other tanks already in ROC service.
It is also quite light and is very easy to maintain in the field. A M97C only costs around $2.3 million, without ERA. ERA and ERA lugs brings up the price only marginally and the ERA is easy to replace. Each tank weighs about 42 tonnes without t the ERA, and about 44 tonnes with ERA. The tank is armed with and 125mm gun with an auto-loading system, and it carries 47 rounds. It has one round in the chamber and 46 in the armored ammunition rack. The rack is computer organized by round type and uses and special robotic arm similar to that of the I.R.L. T-84 Tropical. The tank also mounts a roof mounted 12.7X108mm MG on the roof with 2,000 rounds and a 7.62x54R coaxial MG with 5,000 rounds.
The frontal armor of both the turret and the hull is impenetrable to all but the largest of threat weapons even without the ERA, and is nearly impenetrable with the ERA. The sides are not well armored without the ERA, the ERA on the introduced B-model dramastically improves survival in urban environments.
The engine is the 1,200 HP diesel GWT-12 and the transmission is the 5 forward and 2 reverse speed, automatic TT9. The tank has a top speed of 47 mph and a very good traverse speed. The turret also traverses very fast and the gun can depress 14 degrees.
In previous iterations, the sights were considered lackluster. We decided to seek assistance in upgrading them. The Cubans were the first to respond with anything meaningful. They mounted a; panoramic sight, cupola, and a gunner's sight. They also modified the layout slightly, but it remains almost identical to past variants. Most also sport a new paint job . . . especially if they are in use in forested areas.
@Spikerya My current bio would suggest my maturity is far lower than you assume . . . my George Carlin quote was not appreciated by a few of the sites moderators.
@DankDorito Technically he is a part of my nation, and gave me jurisdiction over the parts and systems he produced. As such I will not allow you to produce these.
@Pilotmario Our air force is structured in a similar way to this in the SPMAPRP;
FaB-12B is about twice as numerous than the FaB-13A, and the FaB-14A/B is about 1/3 as numerous than the FaB-12B. However, we also have two other major fighter types used often . . . such as the FaB-15. The FaB-15A is used both for strike and multi-role fighter roles. We may also use the A-2 as a fighter.
@DankDorito No, you stole the turret. It is not that it breaks RP rules concerning vehicle abilities, but you are using stolen intellectual property. To state it simply I don't want you to use the turret.
@marcox43 Our interceptors are not stealthy, they can have stealth tech, but no stealthy geometry. Our planes are also at least 2,400 mph capable, excluding attack planes and other planes.

Pls add sights to my M97B . . . well a variant of my M97A.
@Spikerya Nope. Note I said it came from George Carlin.
@Spikerya Well . . . it was actually a transcript of an entire live comedy special.

@KDS I am in the 9th grade, and already through Geometry and both Algebras.
@Pilotmario As are Chinese Logistic Corps soldiers.
@Pilotmario Simplistic and easy to follow battle order and a huge number of redundant vehicles have to go/is needed.

I cannot.
@BaconRoll It is a bug, it only occurs for users on iOS.
@DankDorito No, you stole the turret. It is not that it breaks RP rules concerning vehicle abilities, but you are using stolen intellectual property. To state it simply I don't want you to use the turret.
@BaconRoll You will likely be unable to fix the roll issue, as you are on iOS.
Illegal
F-35s are not stealthy to many types of radar from any angle other than the front . . . and many are able to detect the craft from that angle as well.
-It is screwed up against any well funded army with S-400s or modernised S-300s.
@Alix451 What is that?
@phanps Topkek
@Pilotmario Pls rate this tank, I have an upgrade ready for it and a new variant of the my M95 (MBT-8). Tank: M97B
@daxi It is the area under the turret.
HUGE SHOT TRAP, but the tank looks cool.
@Dllama4 I love the damn things.
@Dllama4 Kek
-The rifle
@Dllama4 Can I make a tusken weapon?
I like you . . . you oddly always stick to the same airplane company and general design. @vonhubert
It is actually quite expensive . . .
I would enter this, but Blue Angel . . .
Pls no leave!!
@Dllama4 Welcome
@KDS Kek
@KDS These aren't whistle blowers . . . BTW.
"Kuzyakov, get SA-47 . . . we have some persons to shoot up!" - [ . . . ]
@_@
@MadBomber POKE
@Shipwright Yeas
@Pilotmario I know, I would put a rack or bustle over the rear of the tank's turret.
@Pilotmario Also, I think the back of the turret could use some work.
@Pilotmario We will have skrub killing M97Bs.
Kek
@FearlessFabEngineering Welcome
@marcox43 We don't use those in the RP.
@marcox43 Our interceptors are not stealthy, they can have stealth tech, but no stealthy geometry. Our planes are also at least 2,400 mph capable, excluding attack planes and other planes.
How fast is this plane? -I am Salty_Peasant
@DankDorito Could, but we now have the navy to boast. They would never attack by land due to geographic constraints.
@TemDesBur Also, for some time we were not at war with the British.
@TemDesBur Japan . . .
@Pilotmario He is threatening me, so don't tell him that.
(But the Slavs and English)
