@Tieler If you go to the simpleplanes page on the GP store the "Open" button should say "Update". It should also say "SimplePlanes (Beta)" if you're registered for beta.
I have a new beta pushed to the Google Play store if those who were having problems want to try it (and you're signed up for beta releases). @olearc @Someonetotheleft
I agree and he is catching on pretty quickly. Also, thanks to all the people who are helping him out on the stream too, @EternalDarkness and @WNP76 (and any others I may have missed).
This is awesome. I made quite a few like this back when I was a kid. Pieced them together with T-pins and CA glue using wax paper on top of the schematics, and finished them off with that very thin tissue paper as skin :)
I was just messing around, I felt it was pretty obvious that it was not "100% my design", given the predecessor showing up. I was just testing that uploads were working b/c they were down for a few hours (mentioned below).
The website was refusing new uploads/logins from SimplePlanes, I was just testing it out after a fix...not a new update, sadly. Hopefully, we will have more info on that in the near future though.
I'm sure that would be pretty handy to a lot of advanced builders. Thanks for the feedback. I've bookmarked it in my personal handy-dandy suggested features bookmarks for future reference :)
Mellons is very close, but it looks like you are using windows, so try this.
Hit the windows key + R to open the run window, then paste in "%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\AircraftDesigns" (without quotes), then hit enter.
Find and delete the editor.xml and editor.xml.bak files.
That should remove the problem aircraft and enable you to get back into the editor.
It shouldn't normally be necessary, even if the aircraft doesn't load, but apparently something went wrong in this case.
You can also try running the game as an admin to make sure it has access by hitting the Windows Key+R and pasting in "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\SimplePlanes"
Then, right+click on SimplePlanes.exe and select "Run as Administrator"...you'll probably have to enter your password, but I'm curious if the game will run after that.
If you don't have any settings/downloaded aircraft that you don't mind losing, try hitting the Windows Key+R and paste in "%UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow"
Then, delete the "Jundroo" folder and try running the game again.
Any aircraft you have on the website will not be impacted...I'm assuming you don't have any local settings that you care about since you have not been able to run the game.
You could also send us a log file...run the game, and after the problem occurs, go ahead and quit. Then get the log file. It is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SimplePlanes\SimplePlanesData\outputlog.txt
Sorry for the delay. It seems that you have a mod that is failing to load. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it, but can you try disabling all mods and see if that fixes anything?
Can you send us your log file? Run the game again, and after the problem occurs, quit the game. Then get the log file. It is located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SimplePlanes\SimplePlanesData\outputlog.txt
You can upload it to somewhere like www.pastebin.com, www.dropbox.com (or wherever you want so long as I can view it). Then post the link here.

@SHCow What Android version are you running?
Thanks, all.
I've updated the title to be more general...now that we've got reports of it happening on devices other than S7.
@IDontMakePlanes Hey, I understand you're upset, but you need to calm down and stop cursing. I edited your comment.
Awesome use of the gyro, and great job on modeling the spark!
+1@Nick7777 It isn't something we've really discussed, but that would be pretty awesome. How do you like it?

@Thepilot172 GearHost is the web hosting provider we use for our websites. Is it still saying that?
@HCLO4 Can you post your question on the Steam forum? It will be easier to help you out there.
@Bill0411 Just download it and give it a spin, it still works! :)
Nice plane, man...flies great.

Testing upload capability...

Wow, this is awesome!
Twitter link :)
Holy cow, this is amazing. Great job on the cursive!
Whoa! This is one of the most detailed designs I've ever seen..the TIE fighters are an amazing touch.
Nice job :)
Wow, this is really well done!
Amazing. I keep doing tip-stalls with it, but I also keep wanting to fly it :) All of the detail is awesome.
Very nice!
@madjedi22 You're welcome! Great to hear it is working for you now :)
Also, thanks to @Meawk for tagging me to bring it to my attention.

+2Ok, thanks. Glad it is working now.
Very nice.
Dude! This is great. Looks so pretty and flies great. 'noice
You do have to be a bit careful when taking off (get up to speed first instead of just slamming throttle).
Very nice. The designer mod with the background actually distracts from the ship I think...the ship is amazing. Great job.
Wow, this is beautiful. It flies really well also. Favorite for sure.
@Meawk That is awesome. Which method did you try (deleting the folder, or running as admin)?
@jamesPLANESii Yeah, I watch MythBusters. Too bad they are not making any more, but Adam is still making content via Tested, which is great.
Very creative. Worked great for me. I remember seeing some documentary video about this guy and his creations...pretty neat!
Adam Savage Meets Theo Jansen's Strandbeest
The doc I saw was much older than the video above, but everyone loves Adam Savage, right?
Very maneuverable. Looks mean as well. Nice job.
Beautiful, and flies really well. Awesome.
Man, very well done.
Love it. Flies very authentically (or at least how I'd imagine it to fly).

Ok, I can see the problem immediately. We're reporting that you don't have access permissions to the folder we use to save/load aircraft and settings.
Are you running the game via a restricted account (school computer, family computer where it is locked down etc?).
@TheLatentImage We have no plans to currently.
However, since you can export the .obj file from the game, you can use that to get it 3d printed from many places, such as http://www.shapeways.com/, https://www.whiteclouds.com. Windows 10 even has a 3d printing suite built-in called 3D Builder which uses https://i.materialise.com/.
Oh!!!!!!! It looks like that is tied to terrain quality! It is gone on low...if you set it to medium or higher, it should show back up...sorry.
Could you describe the problem again?
You could also send us a log file...run the game, and after the problem occurs, go ahead and quit. Then get the log file. It is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SimplePlanes\SimplePlanesData\outputlog.txt

Very sleek looking, and man, it is on rails when it flies. Very good job.
+1Holy crap, this is impressive. Nice job.
Nice
