PC can't hook up to internet right now. Unfortunately I have to do it tomorrow. I have the part ready though. I'll publish it before noon tomorrow. @Natedog120705
The size and the explosion radius are in sync with one another. The scaling factor for the part size is also the scaling factor for the explosion size. If you like I can make a Boom 50 shaped like a cleaver, but still weigh the same.
Hey man, have you seen my most recent creations? I’m making something much better in the near future. A steam loco, obviously, but a much better one @EagleRider
You could use that link I gave you to make a steam train. You could also use the coaches from my most recent post. I’m also making a new one that will look far more detailed. I can tag you when that comes out. Also if you want to make the Trinity bomb look even cooler you can add the central device and wiring systems. Remember too that it was almost spherical but slightly longer than it is wide or tall. @Natedog120705
Will do! Do you want just the loco+tender or the whole express train? I’m asking because I usually post it separately. WARNING: Lots of parts. And I haven’t even made the cab yet. @pavthepilot
On an unrelated topic, I’m currently drawing up some plans for a new steam locomotive. It won’t have drive arms, but it will have a highly advanced appearance compared to my others. I’m modeling it mostly from the Polar Express. @pavthepilot
Curious thing, languages. Oddly enough, the word criminal is apparently the Romanian word for murderer, at least from my research (which was honestly not that much) @pavthepilot
I didn’t 'learn' it. Back when I was a little kid I thought of myself as twisted or merciless. I also thought Romanian was the same as Roman. So, I selected what I believed was the language of the Roman Empire, translated those words, twisted and merciless, and here we are. I’m past the stage where I think of myself like that, but I’ve still kept the name for some years @pavthepilot
Stability is going to be the biggest problem. When you drop a bomb that big, your plane doesn’t act like nothing happened. When the real one was dropped the plane almost got destroyed — both in release and then almost destroyed by the explosion. @Natedog120705
I’m making another steam train (geez, they just keep on coming). It's going to be a little smaller and less powerful than my other ones, but it is going to have larger drive wheels and a way more advanced cab, and a whistle to go along with that. How do you like the idea? @Natedog120705
No problemo. Also I made some modifications to the bomb you posted. I slipped the cockpit inside and stuck a rocket in the back which can be used to manually detonate it. It’s kinda my habit — putting rockets in bombs. Kinda like my Castle Bravo @Natedog120705
@Natedog120705 I posted just the locomotive and tender. It's unlisted so only people with the link can get to it. https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/Tx3ZLm/Steam-Train-Tutorial-for-Natedog120705
Also if you want to look at how I build my trains download the "Demon Express". Make sure it’s the version that doesn’t have smoke because that uses a mod on PC. When you do that take the cars off and just keep the loco+tender. Take off the cars by the couplers so you aren’t sitting there for ten hours ripping off 11 express cars with roughly 100 parts each. May have to launch it in game then go back to designer a couple of times so you can get to the coupler between the tender and the first car while still in the designer @Natedog120705
Lol, you want a noob train you should try the train I uploaded right before the "Supreme Order". That is, if your device doesn’t explode trying to run 3626 parts @Natedog120705
You even added in the little devices on the side of it, I see. Very impressive! And you weren’t kidding, the resemblance is unbelievable! This is actually a heck of a lot better than the real life Tsar. That weighed almost 60,000 pounds — about as much as five or six elephants!
If you have a PC you should get it on there, you can do some really cool stuff with it. There’s a mod that even allows you to make stuff with negative size @Natedog120705
No worries. Were I in your position, I probably would’ve done the same thing. Also, thanks for the compliment! I'm still trying to figure out how to make drive arms for my steam locomotives. I tried making a "wheel" using a circular fuselage block, but apparently those don't turn on the ground. Attachment wasn’t the problem since it had a free-spin Rotator between it and the engine. Oh well I’ll figure it out sometime. And also, you should put the bomb back up, though, like I said, use a few less explosives. It’s only quality until it crashes your game :). Have fun in SimplePlanes! @Natedog120705
I did have the idea from seeing it elsewhere, but no, I didn’t take the basics from anyone's. I don’t know if you noticed, but I used a "packet" system to arm mine, which is basically making a small fuselage block and sticking a bunch of explosives on it. To find these look inside of the bomb. Also, would you mind telling me how recently that was and how long it was up?
I assure you that I did not take the parts from you or anyone else. Mine were custom made. Until now I actually wasn’t aware there was a design similar to this. As for the colors, those are pretty much the same wherever you go. My stretched and thinner design was mainly because of the cleavers that I needed room to hide. I have a smaller cleaver subassembly now so that isn’t as much of an issue.
Just to clarify, I did have the idea for a design from seeing it elsewhere, but I didn’t download and change your design or anyone else’s. The fuselage parts being the same is likely because of the simplicity we desired. Less parts, less complex work that needs to be done making it into a bomb shape.
Two words of advice — to avoid uncertainty in situations like this, turn on Auto-Credit. It means whenever someone downloads, modifies, and posts your design again, you get tagged and the credit is given to you on the top of their page. If you look at my most recent creations, it credits my original when I post a more updated version of something I already published, and notes in the description of the original that it has a successor. Second, use less parts for less lag just running it, and less explosives for less lag on the explosion. Explosions also lag less when you do it in the air.
Sorry if this caused you any worry. Happy New Year! @Natedog120705
Thanks for the tip! Also, there’s a post called "My really fast rocket" and the engines on there have a really cool sound. I experimented and found that it wasn’t because of the size or power of the engines. Do you have an idea what the cause of the sound was? Whenever I save it as a subassembly it sounds normal @randomusername
Eh, I’m kinda lazy. Plus I was going to build a full blimp with it but I like to build on iOS better so I made this on the PC (easy enough) and published it to download and save as a subassembly on iOS @randomusername
Thanks for the tip! @robloxweponco
No problem. Enjoy! @Natedog120705
It’s posted and I made sure to tag you on there @Natedog120705

@Natedog120705 Will do.
@Natedog120705 No

@Natedog120705 What section of the forums is it in?
Sure, I’m about to do some anyway. Whatcha need? @Natedog120705
Hey man, have you seen my most recent creations? I’m making something much better in the near future. A steam loco, obviously, but a much better one @EagleRider
And it has 2 upvotes now, I was about to do it yesterday but some —ahem— sibling business distracted me and I forgot about it @Natedog120705
And I also made a cleaver launcher machine (didn’t publish), maybe you could create something similar? @Natedog120705
You could use that link I gave you to make a steam train. You could also use the coaches from my most recent post. I’m also making a new one that will look far more detailed. Higher than I was before actually. 510 — 465 — 527 @Natedog120705
Don’t know, but I’m back up! @Natedog120705
On an unrelated topic, I’m currently drawing up some plans for a new steam locomotive. It won’t have drive arms, but it will have a highly advanced appearance compared to my others. I’m modeling it mostly from the Polar Express. @pavthepilot

No, I got this name from way back. I actually forgot what language it was for a long time. Just remembered last week @pavthepilot
I make steam trains but they don’t have drive arms so they're kind of noobish @RailfanEthan
Weirdest thing just happened. I logged on and somehow I lost 45 points @Natedog120705
Gyroscopes for the keeping it straight problem.
To make it a little heavier put fuel and dead weight on it. I wouldn’t entirely fault you for using Boom50s and Cleavers either @Natedog120705

I was talking about the resemblance between our versions of the bomb but you do have a point @Natedog120705
The supreme order is kinda noobish too but at least it’s made of fuselage blocks and has under 700 parts (I think) @Natedog120705
Lol, you want a noob train you should try the train I uploaded right before the "Supreme Order". That is, if your device doesn’t explode trying to run 3626 parts @Natedog120705

That is awesome! It can actually go up pretty high. Good job!

@robloxweponco Figured I’d tag you since it was your creation first. Happy New Year!

Still trying to figure out how you got a negative length. I keep trying and failing
Lol, 83 parts in one. Little overpriced, don’t you think? :)
