Yep, the last update was released, and now a bunch of users are leaving.
Hopefully, my comment still holds weight, and that people stay here for their passion.
@DerekSP If you see this, can you fix the ground textures? After the latest update, taxiway, apron and grass textures no longer load and the ground is completely white.
The runway and buildings are unaffected. If you’re able to restore the textures, that’d be great. Thanks!
@Boeing727200F only the early A340s are underpowered.
The -200 and -300 models used the CFM-56, the same engine used on the 737 and A320, hence they were underpowered.
But for the -500 and -600 models, they got much bigger, more powerful engines that were actually suited for a widebody, so they’re about as powerful as a 777.
@Dathcha @Shenzerbenzer09 also, Andrew will demote your SimplePlanes subscription to Basic instead of Ultra, preventing you from accessing 60FPS resolution, Maywar, joystick control and mods.
@MrCOPTY most likely, stuff will just be transferred as inanimate objects, since the way that “physics” works on objects differs between physics engines
One thing I’ve learnt from being on this site is that it’s the idea that counts more than the quality. It’s natural for people to like original stuff rather than things that they see every single week, which is a trend that is being reflected everywhere. A rotating house may be impractical compared to a concrete apartment block, but sure looks way more interesting.
A tip for making thumbnails is to not put large amounts of text in the thumbnail, since it becomes really overwhelming. Advertise the features in the description, and preferably add headers (you can find all formatting here) to make it easier to read.
But anyway, great plane!
@HuskyDynamics01 they probably kept the Kicking Fish that way so that even the most potatoes of phones could run it.
When you check the part count, the Kicking Fish only has 50 parts, while all the other stock planes have at least 200.
@Ukrayina1991 我没有后悔 :)
+2@DatMaluchGuy19 I started building again.
+1It feels a bit strange after stopping for so long, but I'm progressing anyways.
@TheCaper sure, if I have time

Credit the original builders
+1Goofy nose
Insane crash, gonna try it out for myself
+2@MobileBuilder21 you should make your ratings out of 100; rating 10/10 for every single aircraft isn’t really helpful

@DaddysTruck1234 no thank you. Cry about it.
Thanks, I hate it. Take my upvote

+3For those who can’t get an Imgur account, consider using Postimages.com. You don’t need an account to upload photos there.
(pls pin this thanks)
@DaddysTruck1234 reported, get a life
+2@Graingy there’s an entire studio created to film fast food commercials
+1@ZerkkTheSimper I don’t think you can spotlight either
+1@Ian_Yashima just discovered that after I disabled and re-enabled the affected mods, they’re playable again. Maybe you should try that
@PriusCat you should link this on your bio so that people can notice it
After the latest update I can't use it anymore :(
+6No way even the buildings are destroyable
+1@WileEWonka getting banned obviously didn't wake you up. Blocked and reported.
+5Normal farm equipment

Late to this lol
+1Creative move to use the runway number as a header for your plane’s name lol
+4@starmango pretty much, maybe they’ll just make a dedicated vehicle sandbox game instead
@Ryanirlover the 737 isn’t a regional jet.
Regional jets are planes that carry less than 150 passengers. Meanwhile, a 737-800 can seat 189 passengers.
Short answer: no.
