My friend, that’s really you remember that this plane existed, however iL-96MD was supposed to be equipped with «НК-Х» or PW4000 series (same as on B772). However there also were project named iL-90-200 with «Н-18Т» and «НК-93» engines. However neither of them came to life. Except for iL-96MO and iL-96T, but they both were four engine aircraft.
I like currently this plane, I saw it when I was flying right under ZIA/UUBW, it's now stored, it may took to the sky when UAC be testing new passenger SST.
