I've always been fascinated by aircraft, possibly to the point of obsession. When I was a kid I had identification posters all over my walls. I think about 50% of books I've gotten as gifts have been about aircraft. About 75% of non fiction books I've bought are as well.
I had simple planes for about three or four months until I finally made an account, so yeah, I was a no good lurker.
I especially like early cold war and Vietnam war aircraft, when there was a marked difference between medium bombers, interceptors, and dogfighters. Before everything got mixed together with more modern multi-role designs.
