@PapaFoxtrotA51 You can use the catapult for your own aircraft but it will likely need fine tuning for the new aircraft. There's a better version of this catapult here:
@Minecraftpoweer it's meant to be like that. The thrust vectoring gives it controlability post stall. It's also fairly easy to manage at high angles of attack.
@ThePilotDude I didn't design this as an entry for any challenge. Indeed, I only discovered mikoyanster's challenge a couple of days ago, just before I uploaded the aircraft.
Also, it's not a light fighter, it's a light attack aircraft. There's a difference. It hasn't been designed for air to air engagements, although it does possess two Guardian AAMs for defensive purposes. I could create a fighter variant though. I would just need to change the weapons.
I was pleasantly surprised that you decided to feature this in your video. The main reason for the problems experienced will be physics simulation setting. Was it set to high? If it was, that's the cause of the problem. I did some tests at high physics and had similar issues. It should work fine on low physics setting.
It also works best at speeds above 500 mph at low altitudes.
And yes, it can fly seemingly forever with no fuel.
Here's a video of this missile in action. The missile was fired from the USS Tiny just off the Wright Island coast, and took about six minutes to reach its target, the WW2 destroyer escorting the USS Tiny Two, between Krakabloa and Snowstone.
Here is the finished missile, complete with silo, booster rocket, warhead and a funny name. Im tagging you because you upvoted my forum post about this earlier, so I thought you might be interested.
@CRJ900Pilot I spent a lot of time designing and testing this missile. It does actually work. So before you go ahead and report it for its name, actually try it out.

If you need help with making the catapult work with your aircraft just upload it unlisted and tag me in the comments and I'll see what I can do.
@PapaFoxtrotA51
Of course you can use it! That's why I posted it here.
Thanks! @MrSilverWolf
@BACconcordepilot I've seen this done before in SP, so I know it can work.
I'll upload it unlisted and tag you. @Chancey21
+1@ThePrototype the rotor can be angled back by 20° using the pitch control, so I don't think that's the issue.

I've disabled collisions for the entire thrust vectoring assembly, but it still won't work. Also, yaw seems to be fine when the plane isn't moving.
@Carbonfox1 I use Android.
@Carbonfox1 ???
Thanks for the upvote! @JPerero
@Jdgetz2004 I'll make an actual replica of the L-39 before I do that. This isn't a replica. Thanks for the livery suggestion!
What about the afterburner? It uses a massless engine to give extra BOOST. @mikoyanster

@mikoyanster does this qualify for your light fighter challenge? This one's actually a fighter, not an attack aircraft.
@ThePilotDude will do. Will upload it when ready.

@Bo123 Because it has weapons?
@Carbonfox1 I based the design on the L-39 and L-159 to some degree. It's actually an evolution of my Pilatus PC-21 replica.

If i used the same acronym but dont disclose it, and tell everyone who works it out not to give it away, would that be considered acceptable?
@Botfinder Not exactly.
"You are not the first person to make a penis-shaped airplane. The joke is old and boring now."
I never made a penis shaped airplane, I made a Precision Endurance Naval Interdiction System.
@503rdAirborneSoldier If you have issues on high physics, use low physics. Medium might work also, but I'm not sure.
@CRJ900Pilot I personally don't see it as that much of an issue to be honest.
