If you want you can save the catapult as a subassembly, and attach it to your F-14 just before it's front wheel. I don't know how well it will work. I've also tried other planes with the catapult, with varying degrees of success. @Luuk2909
There will be a new, updated version of this being uploaded shortly. Mostly aesthetic improvements to the launcher, although there are some other tweaks and refinements.
I'm thinking of uploading a new, very similar version of this, but with some cosmetic improvements (for example, the big block behind the catapult rail could be changed to a more realistic looking jet blast deflector)
I just worked out that if the catapult accelerates the F-18 to 150mph from 15mph (speed of the USS Beast) in a distance of 74m (length of the rail), then the F-18 experiences an acceleration of 3G.
