It may take only a few minutes to come up with and create your initial design, but the process of tuning and testing that design to be absolutely perfect takes from hours to days.
If you want I can try. I'll maybe install a gyro system on my Soyuz rocket to improve the reliability, but it has a lot of parts so it won't really run on my iPad. @JoMiMi
It's a mobile game. You can get it on IOS and Android. It has free multiplayer. There's different versions available, such as the Navy edition and Strike package. @MechWARRIOR57
I know that it never fought in ww2, but it's still a 1940s plane: the Hawker Sea Fury. I built one here, would be interesting to see what you can make. :) @pavthepilot
I take it that no collisions is prohibited? @AndrewGarrison

Time to start development.
Let's see if I can be as successful as last time...

Thanks for the upvote @helilover03
Fair enough @LiamW
What? @RailfanEthan
I already have SimplePlanes on Steam @AndrewGarrison
It looks like you crashed twice, so you never made it past the first round @TheJellyCop
Making your plane work well with AI is half the challenge... @TheJellyCop
What plane did you submit? @TheJellyCop
And yes, the planes are flown by AI @TheJellyCop
The course was a near dead straight run from Wright airport to Yeager airport. @The JellyCop
Thanks @hopotumon
@AndrewGarrison it says that the prize is a free SimplePlanes Steam key, but I already have SimplePlanes on Steam.
Maybe...

I really wasn't expecting to do that well, let alone win. I just thought,"why not?" And chucked this thing together in a couple of minutes. Lol
Thanks
And we're back online after almost 40 minutes of waiting
@AndrewGarrison help us. The tournament machine is broken.
Yeah I think that would be good.
Ok, I'll try. Shouldn't be too difficult.
Video here
I can try something, but I can't do it now, later today hopefully. Any preferences for the landing gear?
Nice! Maybe try putting something like this on my more advanced launcher.
It was a .png before.
Still isn't working
Ok
Gyroscope?
Thanks for the upvote @ShatSlanger @Sgtk @grizzlitn

Thanks for the upvote @TheRealTDawg
Thanks for the upvote @pavthepilot
Well... I would be happy to help but I'm awful at making cars, replica planes are my thing. @Glazeer

What do you need help with? I'm happy to help :) @Glazeer
You can find it in Overload, with the colour as a hex code. For example, red is FF0000 @AlecZ
Thanks :) @Smasher
Thanks for the upvote @goboygo1
Why not enter? You've got nothing to lose by trying. @InternationalAircraftCompany
Yeah, sure. You can enter anything into the competition al long as the design is yours and it meets the rules listed. @Bluerobot11
Ok, thanks for your entry @MrDoolittle
I'm fine with reconnaissance aircraft. I've built a photo reconnaissance Spitfire before.
I would rather it were a combat aircraft of some sort @BACconcordepilot
