  • Mig-15SF Super Fagot 18 days ago

@JessaLeih Erm, actually Fagot is Russian (or Spanish or Macedonian, different pronunciations but means the same thing) for Bassoon, which is where the MiG-15 got its NATO RN from as the Fuselage represents a Bassoon, characteristically long, fat in the middle, with a somewhat rounded off end 🤓🤓

Hey, would you mind if I posted a modified version of an aircraft (my JSX-29) I already have made?

All I really intend to use is the fuselage and cockpit, that part is usually what takes me the longest

@Lepus If it proves hard to fix you could always post it with a disclaimer and (hopefully) someone in the community could help

@Convex also, the SM specifically would've been Flanker-H, Flanker-C and Flanker-G were mainly for the Su-30 and Su-30MKK respectively
oooooo okay, didn't know about that, sorry

  • Su-30SM 4 days ago

Convex, in your description where it says (Russian ????? ??-30) it would be Сухой Cy-30CM

  • Build a cool jet challenge 9 days ago

@wahl Could add suspended armaments or a cockpit or smth of the sort

  • Build a cool jet challenge 12 days ago

@Supersoli8 I have it set as one currently, though the build used the original fuselage line down the middle (If you remove the intake lines and the part that leads to the wings you'll see what I mean)
Every plane I make on here I usually start with that little line and then I'll build the intakes around it and then the wings and so on

  • OG Prop Challenge (CLOSED) 17 days ago

@wahl alright, I'm gonna post my entry here in a bit then

  • OG Prop Challenge (CLOSED) 17 days ago

Hey, are we allowed to have multiple of the prop engine but some are hidden within the aircraft? I've got most of mine complete but no matter the multiplier the engine isn't strong enough and I dont want to make the design look wonky by putting engines on the wings

  • F-47 NGAD 18 days ago

@wahl I see a split between whether people say they're official or not so I just say unofficial to get it over with. Also the whole point was for it to look like it was made by a beginner, hence why I didn't use fuselages. I also didn't put much effort into this

  • F-47 NGAD 19 days ago

@Cuboidable its gonna be like 4 blocks and a stabilizer, though I could def try it

  • R-27 20 days ago

This is a good model, though I'd recommend slimming down the fuselage past the rear stabilizers (If you're going R-27ER) and add the front stabilizers (or whatever they actually are)

@SantaFeAllTheWay true, sorry I dont really know much about trains and railways, that area of machinery wasn't really one I ever got into

  • Topeka FAR-02 Multirole Fighter one month ago

@SantaFeAllTheWay np, here I was thinking it was a reference to the capital of KS

  • Topeka FAR-02 Multirole Fighter one month ago

    @SantaFeAllTheWay surprisingly rare Topeka mention?
Also only naming recommendations I have (Which I think you should stick to, even if it's an incredibly cringe or horrific name it adds so much more personality) is make a nomenclature system, which isn't too hard and usually once you've got more on the system it makes it more easily defined

  • Introducing AutoModerator one month ago

@sexya oh so SP does actually have a bot problem

  • Fighter Jet Challenge Entry: JS-40 Spectre one month ago

@Theinfinite Yeah I noticed that, realistically I need to get more weight in the back and try to balance it first past that I'll find some way to do give it a better turn rate but balancing would likely help

  • Fighter Jet Challenge Entry: JS-40 Spectre one month ago

@Theinfinite tysm, btw sorry I didn't realize the couple mistakes (two empty pylons, right side not detaching when jettisoned) I'd made with the weapons, they were one of the last additions and the wing tanks escaped my mind. Did you notice anything that could potentially make it better?

  • Untitled Aggressor Fighter one month ago

@SantaFeAllTheWay ik it's a redundant question but did you try removing their aircraft collisions? Usually it's some random funky collision that causes it

Sorry for the really weird cockpit, I couldn’t really figure out a way to fix it without just building one.
