Yeah, sometimes it doesn't work at all, sometimes it works flawlessly, and sometimes it only exports the model with the paints texture only having the emmissive paints
Uhh they mean being small as in having low part counts and fewer objects that make the game lag, not the literal size/dimensions of the crafts. Giant crafts the size of a whole runway make the game lag a lot but people don't usually build those, especially not for VR I think.
I think it won't be a bother to get to silver. Besides, a relatively inexperienced player probably wouldn't need that feature unless they made a really large and functional craft that received a large amount of attention, but they would've likely already landed on silver by the time they make that craft or even while/after getting their craft popular
I saw something similar and wayyy better in the FT discord so I'm not the first one to make it so I don't take full credit but I still did discover it myself btw
@MrShenanigans Yes, I used the variable outputs from the camera (I believe it's those look offsets)
I also made sure to counter / recenter the camera with rotators that counter the camera's rotation
idk if anyone made this before and I'm too lazy to check so yea I take no full credit. It's just a proof of concept rn because it still has a lot of quirks
@TheSpartan Wait hollow fuselages actually have hollow collisions? In my (likely outdated) experience all types of fuselage blocks have have the shape of whatever you set it without rounded corners (by that i mean even if you set the edge/corner stly to smooth, curved, or circular, the hitboxes will stay the same shape as if it had hard edge/corner style) even on hollow types
@Biasunrussian Idk if i just misunderstood you but it's not jundroo's fault, they at least built in some popular and almost essential mods when the update came out
I think we need stuff that actually glows and illuminates the surroundings (like in the vid), and not just unshaded stuff and "glows" but doesn't actually give off light (like beacon lights, cannon tracers, and bullets in current sp)
@realSavageMan also thanks for the compliment! and if you haven't known yet, I'm making a much bigger, complex, and realistic map and my current progress is still just laying lines and 3d rails.
you probably know already but I think that's caused by the shock end being connected TO the part instead of the order of the part being connected TO the shock when manually connecting
can you post a build and link it instead? postimages doesn't seem to work rn even trying to download or open in another tab and I'm too curious to just ignore
