@EliteIndustries1 That's an Air Force landing. While landing at an airbase I do precisely that. Navy pilots don't have the luxury of a gentle, easy flare landing. Navy pilots must hook a wire in a very small area...or quite possibly die. Navy landings are rough and hard because they must hold the airplane a hair's breadth above stalling speed and hit a certain spot every time. My landings are reflective of years of carrier landings in various flight sims. I try to keep them smooth of course, but I'll continue to land on carriers the way Navy pilots (real and simulated) have always done it. Thanks for your thoughts.
