The throttle governor causes the tail rotor to spin automatically, otherwise it over speeds and explodes if the propeller pitch is neutral, and yes Yaw does control that.
I'm not so sure it's you, I think that the physics of the game just don't allow for single-rotor helicopter flight just yet.
The fuel is actually in the body of the helicopter, but the cockpit is actually housed in the cargo box. I initially did that as a temporary fix, but once I discovered that no amount of balancing would fix the flight characteristics, I just left it there. Once there is an update with maybe some gyroscope parts, I will rearrange the location of the cockpit to be able to drop the container.
@Puredeath I tend to use low physics settings but when I have tried med or high, it usually stiffens it up some. I don't do it often though because it causes my phone to chug.
This thing is awesome! I would love to see some body panels on this eventually.
Also, I forgot to mention, 1 activates high gear. Makes this thing even more fun.
@DarkLithium don't make that mean you can't still post it. My Bell X-1 was the same situation. Wick posted his just before I was about to. I just waited a few days and posted it anyway.
Holy cow this thing is cool! I can't help but yell "Contact" in my head every time it starts. As for the heavy nose, try adding a bit of weight to the rear end and changing the wings in front to be Flat Bottom for better lift.
Pretty sweet. I would suggest removing the control surfaces from the blue wings to keep the roll and pitch easier to control. Otherwise this thing is awesome!
Magnificent! How long until you pull your hair out trying to make a super star destroyer at this scale?
@bobthetitan123 I always love a good Crimson Skies build.
Sweet! Wouldn't take much to get her to actually fly.
@Timmy123429 I may take a shot at it sometime.
Runs great on my iPhone 5c. At flies smooth as can be.
Love the wheels, nice work.
@NovaTopaz by the time I noticed the width problem, it was already too complex for an easy fix. Glad you like it otherwise.
Somehow missed this before. I like it.
I'm a sucker for replicas of unique aircraft and this one is spot on.
@WalrusAircraft it's a shame, I'd love to bully USS Tiny with this thing.
@Puredeath @WeeBabySeamus This is why we need some kind of hover/repulsor parts. To make awesome things possible.
By far the craziest up vote/download ratio I've seen.
@Puredeath I was thinking about starting one of these, but you nailed it.
Great Scott!
Is there anywhere that we can view all of the tags already implemented?
Mobile-friendly, Stunt, Help Needed.
@LordofLego
I'm a sucker for balanced asymmetrical builds.
I can run it on an iPhone 5C with some lag. The suspension is really soft (but the wheels work great)
Not a bad little plane. Just needs a bit smaller control surfaces to prevent the loss of control in quick maneuvers.
Southern California, U.S.
Flies great!
@jheffernan Where is the thump thump?
Is there a rule that you can't feature your own planes? This is pretty sweet!
@Wahoo12 Looking forward to it!
@Puredeath odd. I do know that the steering wheel causes the whole car to rock as it rotates. Disabling that may help.
@Puredeath I tend to use low physics settings but when I have tried med or high, it usually stiffens it up some. I don't do it often though because it causes my phone to chug.
@jheffernan Thanks!
@LordofLego yep. Worked the jungle, Indy, Big Thunder, Tiki room, and the Main Street vehicles (one of which I am currently building)
@jheffernan well it was one of my favorite places to work lol
I've got just the thing...
@DarkLithium yes, I get it. PCs are great. I just don't have one.
@DarkLithium you could delete the engine/exhaust parts, but this may never be a very mobile-friendly build. It runs well enough on an iPhone 6 though.
@Puredeath I need to start work on a battle machine of my own then.
If multiplayer ever is a thing, we have to make a destruction derby league with these things.
Hot damn!
Awesome! Maybe someday I'll get on a platform that I can xml edit. Until then I'll just have to enjoy what you guys can crank out!
@Puredeath nope, iOS. But I'm eager to see what you come up with.

Still an awesome machine. @hockeymdog
Pretty beastly! Though it does have a tendency to collapse with low physics, on my phone anyway.
Not bad. I tried to recreate this plane at one point too, but yes, a vertical tail is needed for the game to function.
This looks awesome! Possibly of the best Cessna builds I've ever seen.

Been admiring and driving the beast around for a while, only just realized that I hadn't rated yet. 6 stars if I could.
Credit to @lindiv for the steering wheel and the best tires I've seen on this site.
@HypnoticChicken I see some of the similarities, but yeah, quite a bit different in the end.
@HypnoticChicken Is it? I couldn't find anything about such a plane.
