Flies great. Looks great. Keep being awesome.

  • Prop Assemblies 10.3 years ago

For any of you who didn't catch it, kellyj posted some jet engine assemblies earlier. Go check them out!

  • Focke-Wulf FW 193 "Hellhound" 10.3 years ago

    Thanks!

  • Northrop XB-35 10.3 years ago

Great design and very stable flight for a wing. Nice workaround for the push props too.

  • Curtiss-Wright P2 "Warhawk" 10.3 years ago

Yes, though I meant rear-facing engines. It would be nice to have an option to reverse the thrust on the props.

  • Curtiss-Wright P2 "Warhawk" 10.3 years ago

@thomin I know about using hidden jet engines to simulate push props, but I've has mixed performance issues with them on my iPhone. Especially when it is a dual engine design.

  • Curtiss-Wright P2 "Warhawk" 10.3 years ago

@Lolivier The Bloodhawk would be difficult due to the massive wings on the very back of the plane. The CoL and CoM would be way out of alignment. And I'm still waiting on pusher props to do those planes properly.

  • Curtiss-Wright P2 "Warhawk" 10.3 years ago

Feel free! I have no problems with other players making similar planes. I actually like to see other players' interpretations of fictional aircraft.

  • Tutorial: How to get parts to overlap Part 1 10.3 years ago

Nice to see more helpful posts for the newer or less experienced builders.

  • Osprey 10.3 years ago

Like the look, but the VTOL nozzles need to be repositioned for better balance.

  • Sopwith Camel 10.3 years ago

Very solid design. Fun to fly and even lands well. Great job!

  • Bell X-1 "Glamorous Glennis" 10.3 years ago

There is one modified version that is supersonic but the wings shear off at those speeds haha. But feel free to mod as long as I'm credited.

  • Ravenscroft "Dust Devil" 10.3 years ago

I've attempted the Dauphin, but the CoM, CoL and CoT are all way out of alignment. It'll require some major redesigning.

  • Floppy Jet 10.3 years ago

    Very fun to fly!

  • Naboo Starfighter 10.3 years ago

I have a love for great reproductions of fictional crafts, and this fits right in there. Looks awesome and flies surprisingly well. Great job!

  • Hughes Aviation P21-J "Devastator" 10.3 years ago

I will have to fiddle around with that, thanks for the tip!

  • Jet Bike Mk. I(Novice) 10.3 years ago

Nothing against uploading a "plane" simply for the visual aspect.

  • Prop Assemblies 10.3 years ago

Try looking at the subreddit for a guide. I'm terrible at explaining techniques without visuals.

  • A-10 Warthog 10.3 years ago

Best recreation of this plane I've seen on here yet.

  • Jet Bike Mk. I(Novice) 10.3 years ago

This is a hoot to fly! Nice to see something a bit different. I'm excited to see your Star Wars speeder!

  • Rutan Voyager 10.3 years ago

Aside from the slight nose drop, it is a very nicely build recreation of a milestone aircraft. Rutan planes are a fun challenge to recreate in Simple Planes, though I've only posted the Boomerang so far. Well done.

    +1
  • WWI biplane (improved) 10.3 years ago

It does indeed fly a bit more stable, nice work. And thanks for crediting me, most users forget that part.

  • NGF-3B (Striker) 10.3 years ago

Looks and flies great, though don't try to use the rudders at high speed!

  • The Barrel 10.3 years ago

Flies surprisingly straight, though needs a smaller aileron surface and larger elevators to be more controllable and less wobbly.

  • Fokker Dr. I "Red Baron" 10.3 years ago

Both looks and flies beautifully. Very well done!

  • F4U-5 Corsair 10.3 years ago

As previously stated, wonderfully build plane.

  • Dusty Crophopper from planes 10.3 years ago

Good recreation, but some of the wing segments should be swapped with Structural Wings to prevent them from breaking up during liftoff.

  • B-1B Bomber 10.3 years ago

Couldn't quite test it on my iPhone but from what I could see this plane flies very well, and looks awesome.

  • Bat Plane 10.3 years ago

Have to dial in the vtol nozzle angle to maintain straight flight, but once you do, this thing has great agility.

  • Balmoral 10.3 years ago

Man after my own heart. Well done!

  • TMQ de Havilland 88 Comet V2 10.3 years ago

Beautiful control and very well designed. Keep it up.

  • Eagle 10.3 years ago

Wow, that looks exactly like mine...I wonder why.

  • WWI Biplane 10.3 years ago

You have to trick the part in there by rotating one pieces you need into the other pieces. It's a bit challenging to say the least.

  • TIE Advanced 10.3 years ago

Thanks man (I assume you are a male) I've got a TIE fighter and bomber as well. I'll post them sometime soon.

  • F4U-5 Corsair 10.3 years ago

    Incredibly well built. Good job!

  • Bell x-1 10.3 years ago

It seems my wing design doesn't hold up to supersonic speeds very well.

  • ACG Sharknado 10.3 years ago

Surprisingly stable in the air. And hilarious to fly. Very well done.

  • Hannibal HP42 10.3 years ago

Very good reproduction, love the support beam look. Chugs pretty bad on mobile devices but flies very well.

  • Serenity 10.3 years ago

While not flyable, very nice design.

  • Futuristic DB-132 V2™ 10.4 years ago

A bit clunky to get into the air, but flies rather well at speed. We'll done.
