Happy to have a look at it. The oscillation is a pain and there are a couple of things to check. Speed, exact lengths/radius and that its mounted on springs.
@SnoWFLakE0s
I think its doable... I would only do it to the main sail, and have the foresail just for looks. But anyways, your fantastic yacht is done and uploaded, so maybe the next one. Feel free to reach out to people for advice!
@BeryllCorp
From memory you need to use wing parts as sails and set them to flat in order to create lift and therefore a force that can move the ship upwind... very nice build by the way!
Yep, looks basically the same in fact I studied yours before starting this. The main difference is I used more wheels / track thingies to give it more granularity...
I added the swing arms thingies as well, but the part count was sky rocketing so I left them off.
@BogdanX
Install the upload with screenshots mod, and the. Just follow the instructions... you need to capture the image by F12, so for is we need to press func key and the corresponding F12. It took me a while to work it out too... remember, last image capture appears first.
@SkyFly
Yes, the water thing is fun, but needs to be fixed so it can at least roll under water. What about sound? I am using a normal engine to create an engine sound using the same input. Otherwise, all seem to work fine. Oh, it would also be great if the tracks are visible in designer view.
So... I have been working on some tank tracks for the last week or so and have ended up with something mostly ok... but >500 parts. Then I downloaded and installed this.. damn it! after 2 hours I have achieved the same result with these... they are good. For OSX / Mac, there is no crashing, no issues at all - it just works.
Some points on the below:
- Having casing is difficult as the 'bullets' are not attached to anything and we don't use in-game firing system so that means there is no way to detach the casing when firing.
- We're trying to avoid using Activation groups for each round as that will limit the number of rounds.
- The piston and spring idea is good, but then there will need to be some work on timing etc... see the drum type mag on the link below.
- Yes, there is a balance to achieve between impact force and the main spring to get the right speed... for the current uploads we have gone for a relative slow movement due to the explosiveness of the rounds. The paint ball guns are faster.
@ChisP
This is the drum mag... just hit fire weapons, its still prototype/development. ie. not ready.

Set the pendulum going... raise the magnets until its creating higher and higher movement, and then rotate the magnets a little bit to see the effect of SP magnetism on a moving body.
@temporaryaccount
Yeah, I called it sticky rotator for using roll and pitch.
@CRJ900Pilot
Thanks!

@SnoWFLakE0s
So true!
@Fellout
Sorry, the tracks are great... otherwise ontherwise 500 parts!
@temporaryaccount
Mine is limited to about 60mph... its about half way down the options menu
@Spikerya
Mate, I think your phone or whatever is broken.
@metallicplanes
Good point
@Roswell
I’m sorry, I did have tracks but they were 500 parts to start with + 900 parts!
@GeneralOliverVonBismarck
Amazing - well done!
Not bad at all.
Very cool

Ahh, mount it to the boat by two springs / suspension... if that doesn’t help pls let me know
Are you able to upload what you and I’ll have a look.
@Genterprizes
Thanks!
@Mmdben
Opps
@temporaryaccount
ll true, and hence the Tracks 2 MOD - from 500 parts down to 2!
@ColonelStriker
Yes, of course
@Bman01
Welcome
@Genterprizes
Sure, but how does armor move..?.
@RYAviation
Not sure why it lags like it does - strange.

Yes, it takes some patience

well done! It can be done!!!!
@Mmdben
Thanks
@BagelPlane
and then...
@shipster
I’m only joking, to stir up some ranting...

You need to install the underwater mod. Check the mods page for it.
@Aidan551sq
This is a great and simple solution to propellers underwater!

Understand that, but changing the background colour would work.

My only comment is the thumbnail pics (above) are too dark - its difficult to see that this is a very well built aircraft at first glance.

There is a counter lever at the front of the gun (the white part sticking out) - thats why its a curved mag... @ThomasRoderick
you are welcome

Please let me see any prototypes you have when you are ready...
