@KidKromosone It was removed on the premise that it was a post about a block. I figured that was the case, but wanted to double check with the moderator that handled the situation.
.
Posts about blocking people are generally sensitive topics and thus not massively welcome on the site as they can create conflict between users.
.
Mentioning that a user has blocked another user can lead to harassment of both users. Believe it or not a similar situation played out that I tried to handle a while back. It too started with an apology post and it ended on less than friendly terms as other users outside of those involved decided to involve themselves and it got out of hand. If you want to apologise to someone, let one of the mods know and we'll handle the situation and try to avoid using the users name in public to avoid any conflict.
.
That is likely why your post was removed too @ThePilotDude
.
@CruzerBlade @FastDan @MechWARRIOR57 I've tagged you guys so you understand that there is "method to the madness" in removing seemingly innocent posts.
@KidKromosone I've put a message in the mod chat and I've asked the user in question about what's going on to get some clarification on the matter. It could take a while for either to get back to me though.
@WagonRestorant I appreciate you feel the name of this build is justified, but please understand that this could encourage others to use the same excuse, with the intention of just using the word on the premise it's rude.
Moderators don't "overcompensate" the rules. Often before removing a post that has us a bit on the wall, it gets posted on the mod chat and then we talk about whether or not it should be removed. Occasionally we do get it wrong for a number of reason from lack of context to something as simple as being tired.
.
However 99% of the time there is a logical justification for the removal of a post. If we feel it's obvious, we leave a comment explaining why, if it isn't we leave a preset comment about reading the rules.
.
With that in mind, we generally "look before we leap" a lot more often than we don't. A lot more goes on behind the scenes than people give it credit for. However, automod is a thing for builds, which removes posts if a most is reported a number of times. Sometimes a post can get removed unintentionally if a number of users false flag it.
.
Apologising posts can be regarded as stirring up drama depending on the context and thus they can be removed as they can cause more harm than good.
.
I'll have a look into the situation and get back to you.
I made a similar concept for a SB aircraft of mine. Using boom 50s and a set of detatchers (of varying force) connected to 1 central cylinder.
.
It was pretty destructive to say the least. Sadly it was before Finetuner and scaling were a thing, so the concept got abandoned by me for impracticality of carrying a one time use, large external bomb.
.
Was thinking about revisiting it at some point in the near future, but I doubt I'll upload my results anytime soon!
@Carbonfox1 Thank you. I've got a massive backlog of aircraft and I thought I should probably make an effort to do something about it. To put it into perspective, I'm on ES-82 now... As well as the ES series, I'm on SB-17 (only got up to SB-9 uploaded) and I've also started an elite AS series with 4 aircraft in including an airship. So I've probably got a backlog of around 30 aircraft, not including upgrades/derivatives I've made to all of those aircraft (uploaded and not uploaded.
@Carbonfox1 Thank you. I don't upload often because I have to disable all the mods, close the game and then relaunch it in order to do so, which is a bit of an inconvenience. However, I've disabled them all for now and intend to upload a few builds within the next week or so.
@ForeverPie I'll be honest, it's pretty sad to see you go, but after reading your post, I think I understand why. It seems you tried to push yourself when you didn't want to be pushed. When one enters such a spiral, they are no longer playing the game to enjoy themselves, but rather they feel they have to prove something to themselves, which I'll be honest is the wrong reason to play the game... Or anything for that matter.
.
If part of you does want to continue with SimplePlanes, don't try and push out something for the sake of it. Do something different. Make a Tank, make a sub, supersize it, make it as overkill as possible, do anything, for the soul reason for because you can.
.
I be honest, I nearly fell into that habit of building for the sake of building, but caught myself before it got out of control. I stopped took a step back, stopped what I was working on, started a new series of aircraft (in doing so started the Aurora Project to spice things up a bit), I made Airships with massive drop down cannons and created 3 fighter jets, modified 2 bombers. And I'm still going. I have a massive backlog of aircraft that I'll probably never upload all of them, because I don't feel any pressure to.
.
What I'm trying to say is, look back at your builds, ask yourself which ones you enjoyed making regardless of whether others did. Hell, one of my favourite builds to make was a 50 part aircraft which I made to deliberately fly, takeoff and land badly, shortly followed by a flying biodegradable packing peanut. I'm not saying that building something ridiculous will reignite the flame, but I imagine you'll have a hidden niche that will.
.
Also, as @EternalDarkness rightly says, nobody is asking you to build. Just do it when you feel like it. If keeping motivation is an issue, then keep the project simple (don't go overboard with details and making fancy wings). Maybe go on multiplayer with some chill music for a bit and fly an old build for them nostalgia feels. I know I'd be happy (as usual) to do a mission or something that involves some form of formation flying.
.
Finally, this community isn't going to vanish anytime soon. Maybe you need a hiatus. Who knows... At this point I'm just throwing ideas around XD
.
But I'm no psychologist. I'm sure whatever you do will work out for the best.

As much as appreciate your side of the story, I have to disagree. Making games is like an art, music if you will. A strange analogy if you will, but bear with me on this.
.
First and foremost, Jundroo is a very small dev team. They're not backed by big corporations that have the capacity to throw out thousands of advertisements to start rolling in the money. They don't have that luxury.
.
As a result, they have to introduce new games to make it worthwhile. Sure, I agree, Simpleplanes is a fantastic game, but as you pointed out it's a very niche market that doesn't attract a massive audience like the triple A titles out there. Thus, there profits from release will decline rapidly in comparison to other big games like GTA 5. Even if they push out updates, it doesn't change the fact that the game isn't gaining popularity like it once did. Hence SR2.
.
Sure, you can argue SR2 is a "ripoff" of KSP, but it hasn't even been released yet so that's somewhat an unfair judgement to make. But even if it was like KSP, what's the problem? Just because Def Leppard basically invented hair metal doesn't mean the likes of Bon Jovi and Journey should be put down because they followed with a similar style.
.
As for why they should include SR2 features in SP, like two different albums from the same artist, it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to take one song from say Hysteria and stick it on Pyromania. Jundroo clearly wants to improve on SR. And
to simply update SP with new parts from SR2 is a bit of a gamble in terms of the actual long term user benefits when you consider the overall costing behind the scenes.
.
So regardless of whether you feel it's right, it's Jundroo's only option to keep feeding games like SP with updates/content. As they say, money doesn't grow on trees.
I'm disappointed that I'm not on this list. I'll have you know I'm a very well integrated member of this community... and upload creations all the time... sometimes... maybe every month or so... or once a year.
Got to love the Flanker family. You can't deny that the Russians know how to make a true multipurpose plane. SU-35 or SU-37 is my personal favorite from the family, shortly followed by the SU-34 and SU-30.
.
Needless to say, I'm looking forward to seeing where the PAK FA goes with time.
@FastDan nope, I ran into some issues with my HDD and I think it's all been wiped. I may have a backup lurking around though, I just can't remember where it is.

I think it's generally advised that you don't upload things relating to Honda. As I believe it was them that requested that such things relating to them shouldn't be uploaded. I advise you make some small (but noticeable) changes to the aircraft and upload it with a different name.

@Chancey21 that's your opinion to have. I was going for dramatic lighting rather than daylight.
I too vow to banish Mr Pie in the coming months, on the premise that one is bound to act in a nonsensical and inappropriate manner.
