This isn't the only US plane to be withdrawn due to enemy losses. The American carrier based Douglas TBD-1 "Devastator" was removed from service due to heavy losses at midway.
I really hope that it is an option to make parts of the plane to fall off or break into pieces, rather than just disintegrating. That way an explosion actually leaves debris and wreckage, rather than vaporizing it.
@Kendog84 Something else I noticed, this car shows much more weathering and long-term damage, suggesting it has been left in poor storage conditions (like by the side of the road) for years. Like both our cars are red, but the paint on your Dord looks fresher and less weathered. this one has nearly rotted away.

Suspension was so bad I had to turn up the friction just to not immediatly spin out. I based it off the Moonhawk Rustbelt Beater car.
