Nice. The F-16 Lightning Phoenix reminds me of my E210 I posted last year.
I need to remaster that project some day.
Anyways, looking great!
I'll take a 16.
@LoneSpaceGaming Interesting. Only thing I can think of would be compatibility inconsistencies, but I'm not a dev nor a mobile user so I wouldn't know much about that.
Did you happen to check your game files to see if the aircraft files themselves were deleted?
Chances are, if the input isn't working, then you probably made an error. Check the console logs for any errors. Check connections as well, maybe even disconnect and manually reconnect the part(s).
Your physics settings will affect how builds work. If something you downloaded isn't working as it does for other people, chances are it's probably your physics settings.
As for your aircraft being deleted, yeah not sure about that one. Sorry to hear that.
@DeadlyDialga I cannot argue with your point of view because it is entirely correct.
Vanilla is superior.
Other flavors are good but nothing beats a good ol' serving of vanilla.
This literary masterpiece of a forum has given me this strange motivation to visit my local warehouse store and purchase an entire crate of barbecue sauce.
Might as well purchase a few slabs of brisket while I'm at it.
@PannerTerkins This probably wouldn't pass as an F-107 with its current fuselage shape. There's some pretty big differences, mainly in the landing gear and canopy design.
Even if I copied the wings/stabilizers from the F-107 it probably wouldn't qualify as one.
Like jamesPLANES said, simply going on a walk can be therapeutic.
Sometimes it's nice to just be outside, alone, away from whatever chaos may be going on, and just let your mind wander.
As far as other hobbies, what about constructing and flying RC planes? It can get a little bit expensive but it hasn't ceased to entertain me.
@Yeetthehen No, because Jundroo can't add community-made mods to the base game without risking potential legal issues.
As far as photos and more weapons, probably not. They said they were focusing on other things so I doubt we'll see an update in the near future, if at all.
I know I'm a bit late here but, like Dialga said, the 747-8 is not the largest aircraft.
Boeing's largest commercial jet is the 777-9X.
The largest aircraft in the world currently is the SC Stratolaunch.
If you want to include past aircraft as well, the AN-225 was the largest aircraft ever built.
That's normal. Just give it some downward trim.
A plane isn't supposed to maintain a perfect pitch attitude at all speeds. Below a certain speed you'll need upward trim and above a certain speed you'll need to apply downward trim. That's just how it works.
I feel compelled to leave this here since there seems to be a number of people asking for X mod to be added to the base game.
Jundroo can not add community-contributed mods to the base game without risking potential legal issues (unless some sort of special legal agreement is made, but I doubt the devs would bother with that).
The reason we have mods like Fine Tuner and Overload added to the game by default is because they were made by game developers who implemented the features when they became a part of the developer team.
The only mods that have a chance of being implemented are the ones made by one of the devs (such as WNP78), and it's likely that they have no plans to add them anytime soon if they haven't already (for example: Underwater Camera).
To add on to this, Andrew stated in the blog "Sadly, this means that SP updates will continue to be on pause for the foreseeable future, though we will roll out updates to fix critical bugs if necessary."
This isn't a blog asking for update ideas, this is a blog sharing Jundroo's future plans.
Begging for X mod or X feature or X update here is going to do absolutely nothing to get it implemented.
If/when a post asking for update suggestions is made, that is the place to leave a suggestion.
This isn't meant to offend anyone. Please don't take this in as some sort of attack.
@Mason08 Rebirth (the owner of the Korean server that most people have been using recently) hasn't made any special announcement that I know of regarding the server. According to Rebirth's website the server is "temporarily unavailable for server maintenance, DDoS attacks, or other reasons" so we'll just have to wait until it comes back online or Rebirth makes a formal announcement regarding the server's status.
It's important to consider the fact that while yes, certain mods/mod features were implemented into SP, those mods and features were made by WNP78 (and maybe some other game devs), and later implemented by them when they joined Jundroo.
It's different for non-developer mods. They're third-party addons, and adding them to the stock game could cause legal issues for Jundroo. (Credits to RepublicOfCursedPlanes for a better explanation of this.)
TLDR: No. Unless the mods are made by game developers, the chances of that happening are almost zero.
This is just my view on the topic however. It's possible I may not have all the facts. If someone more knowledgeable than me happens to see this, feel free to correct anything I might be wrong about.
For anyone wondering about current projects, my H300 airliner is currently on hold.
I'm working on another project at the moment. I don't have a planned release date for either of them.
@Blueshift Sure. Here's some code I pulled from a cancelled build: IAS<22.352 ? "LOW" : (TAS>111.76 ? "OVERSPEED" : round(IAS/0.44704)+"mph")
The entire expression is basically a ? b : (a ? b : c).
It checks to see if the speed is too low, and when it returns false then it checks to see if the speed is too high, and when that returns false it displays your IAS in mph.
It was pulled from a text label, which is why it looks a bit different.
You could also do a ? (a ? b : c) : c.
Hopefully this helps :)
Freshie spotted.
+2Get ready for what's to come.
@ToeTips Not at all!

@ShinyGemsBro That would be me.
May or may not have been engaging in some minor tomfoolery.

If someone tries using this on us in MP, it's the flying RGB for them.
Or alternatively, just use trollshield.

I immediately thought about The Wind Rises upon seeing this.

@Pan Unless someone comes along and un-cancels it ;)
To those who requested tags, I know you were hoping for a finished product, but I figured I'd go ahead and tag y'all anyways.

@42 Not quite. The Bumblebee is about a year old.
This is what I'm talking about.
@42 No. It had a built-from-scratch 2-bladed system.
But the body/tail configuration is similar.
Looks similar to an autogyro I was working on a month or two ago.

@Stephengraffam221022222 @Blingchilling @Yeetthehen They can't do that. It's a Google/Apple problem.

@Beardymcbeard Thrust plus the (probably) unrealistic amount of lift.
@Cir8 Full server. Some people are in but others are having the same issue.
You'll just have to wait it out.
@MrCOPTY I don't entirely know actually. This was my first attempt at a scratch-built VR aircraft so I was guessing on most of it.
+1@Dragoranos Sorry, I know this is a late reply.
