I'm just finally able to make engines capable of flight but just barely and I want to be able to fly faster without using a giant Prop... any idea on how to do t? @IzzyIA
So I have a question, how come adding more pistons to a piston engine doesn't seem to increase power? I've had better performance out of a 2 cylinder engine than a 3 or 4@IzzyIA
I believe they are picked at random if you have them set to spawn. They are also limited in the amount of parts they can spawn with but I could be wrong. Only the player can spawn things with X amount of parts and doesn't have a cap.
Aerial screws are essentially just propellers and would serve and act the same way as long as it was properly designed, but I don't think there have been any screw powered veichles.... there was a design that came out of the American Civil war. A confederate soldier had designed a steam powered helicopter and it had screws for propulsion. Just search Confederate Helicopter on google and you should find a few articles...
He was one of my good friends on here, but he got bullied a lot because a lot of his planes had a large amount of upvotes although they weren't really good. He didn't deserve to be bullied...
Thanks @Jacobdaniel
Good idea, I might take that into consideration @DJS8Corporations
IF you want fully mechancial go check out my Mechanical Pearse @DJS8Corporations
But thank you guys! @yogertdog @DJS8Corporations
Not sure lol @DJS8Corporations
@randomusername thanks man

+1@IzzyIA
@Theboss313 @JelloAircraftCorporation
Maybe? And thanks for the upvote! @Tw1st3dPs7ch0
+1Could you possibly make a working piano using springs and other blocks to create different sounds?

+1Nice, I remember when I made one of these.....
+1@Theboss313
Oh crap...
Thank you for the tips, I will have to try them :) @randomusername
+1It seems longer for some reason... is that just me?
I've seen that movie...
Nice and simple
@WinstonHarambe any idea?
I can't wait to see it! @JohnnyBoythePilot
+1Wicked!
Like stuff with moving parts, like a walker or a control system or steering system for a car @ND40X

Mechanical build challenge?
+1I would personally just use a rudder connected to a rotator or soemthing
I love halo...
+2And there was also a Russian terrain vehicle that used screws to move around and it was actually built, but I do not know the name of it...

Use large wings with flat bottom airfoil, most of the planes I build don't fly more than 70 mph so Flat bottom should work quite well
?
+2Use multiple shocks instead of one, generally this spreads out the weight instead of on one point
+1Ja
The parts sticking together is a big issue I have....
+4Same @SimonGlaser
+1Congrats!

+1I've recorded missile speeds up to 3131 mph... @Spacedoge12345plane
+1I remember the old engines......
There was a technique I developed to "Nudge" on IOS before it was added
Hmmm... trying searching around on some actual aircraft forums and see if anyone can figure it out...
+1Also it may just be autoroll.....
