I’m really amazed at how well it drives, you can go zipping through the hills and not have any problems, nice touch with the night vision too lol @ProjectTank
I wouldn’t be so sure yet man, you can do 2 entries, yours is more sci fi and it actually has suspension (mine doesn’t have any so it rolls too easy) and I may not get around to making a second @VerldVarIII
Lol, it wasn’t so bad last time so I did it again, I was going to wait until everyone forgot about it and bring it back then, but I clouldn’t help myself. Thought it would be a good motivator @Gameboi14
Glad you mentioned, I was going to add it but I figured it’s best to make it optional or ad it to another variant. I was excited and wanted to share it lol, and theoretically it’s cheaper to without it. Glad you liked it! @Alta2809
Flies nice, i think I like what you did with the tail rotors, it kind of helps with turning in forward flight, I find SimplePlanes has a weird dynamic for helicopters in forward flight
Someone definitely had to make an a-10 design, I don’t know why it works so well with the egg but it was a good choice lol. It flies well and looks pretty good, I’m glad your first upload was for my egg competition lol
@ImSimon Once the engine is running you can twist the throttle, which is located at the end of the collective to your left. Also, the blades will only spin once the clutch has fully engaged.
Let me know if this helps, I can also publish a video of the startup on YouTube if needed
@SuperVirus38 That’s awesome you remembered it so fast! It usually takes a while to pick these things up!
As for ground effect, I think simpleplanes already has ground effect built into the rotor blade’s xml variables. I can’t remember if I modified it but if it is set right, you should notice it start to need less power once you are one rotor diameter’s width above ground level.
For an Apache, I don’t know how accurate I could make one since I’ve never flown or seen one up close, but I might be able to make a plausible replica based on publicly available information! That might be a fun project in the future.

+1Flies awesome

+1You’re back! And with another build that suits the egg lol, maybe I should expand the challenge across games to SimpleRockets as well
