(dont feel like logging into my main rn) never bothered to finish the cockpit, so just fly it in third person. also, the trim affects the rotors too.
flies like an autogyro when in forward flight
congrats! its unreal to check your profile and see that your gold has been replaced with platinum.
.
now to get this alt to silver
.
also, your kthxbye permit is in the mail, it should arrive shortly
@Bellcat edit: i fixed the issue by adding a gyroscope that is weak enough to be counteracted by the FT stabilization system, but is able to move the craft around when it is at high speeds.
Hiller X-18, Ryan X-13, or bell X-22. all three are very unique, and i belive that lesser known X series crafts need more attention than the X-15 and the X-1 and 2
As I was building today, I realised it would be nice if it was possible to press a single button on our keyboard to perform some actions in the designer, rather than having use our mouse to navigate through some menu's.
check the controls section, theres all sorts of keybinds
attention android users!
people using android 10 and above cannot access the android/data folder normally. you must put your phone into recovery mode or enable developer settings and allow USB debugging, then plug your phone into your computer in order to get to the files you need.
.
i am aware that file managers that can access the file are on the appstore, but the UI they have is horrendous at best.
.
android 9 or below, or android 10 and later with root or a file explorer from the appstore.
now for how to do this on android
1: download this app and this app (the file browser app is only needed for android 10 and later)
2: (this has two versions, pick the one for your operating system!)
2A: android 9 and before: using the app above, navigate to "android/data/com.jundroo.simpleplanes/data", then go to the aircraftDesigns folder. after that, open the build you would like, then do the steps described in the post above.
2B: android 10 and later: using the file browser you downloaded from the appstore, navigate to android/data/com.jundroo.simpleplanes/data. then navigate to the aircraftDesigns folder and look for the build you would like to use. when you find the file, move it to your downloads folder. after that, open up the acode app mentioned above, then select the file you moved to the downloads folder to open.
.
the computer method (all android versions)
now if you went the other route, here is the way to do it.
1:while in recovery mode, or with USB debugging enabled plug your phone into your computer, then if you are in USB debugging mode, be sure to press allow on the prompt on your phone's screen. when that is done, you can use your phone like an external hard drive.
2:enable hidden files then navigate to android/data/com.jundroo.simpleplanes/data/aircraftDesigns then open the desired build in notepad or other desired text editor. then follow the post above.
i already made an announcement for this on my main acc a while back
What about me?
@asteroidbook345 same, stopped really paying attention to it last year. i have no idea what happened with bogdan or anything since.
+1(dont feel like logging into my main rn) never bothered to finish the cockpit, so just fly it in third person. also, the trim affects the rotors too.
+1flies like an autogyro when in forward flight
@Hiiamhere no, its a game bug, ive already submitted a bug report on it
huh, i was wondering why i had a metallic taste in my mouth...
+1@CharlesDeGaulle

congrats! almost halfway to platinum
+1@MitchellAviation then try setting it to
+1GearDown
set the activation group on the gyro to
+1LandingGear = 1 ? True : False
these make great engine noises for if you need to sound rich but dont have a lamborghini nearby
@Mage2IsTriggered ill see if i can optimize the code, i might forgo PID controllers for something less complex, at the expense of stability
mind if i have about 2000 - 3000 performance cost? the FT stabilization system on my buggy thing i pinged you on is getting complex
@Hl yes he is a dev, hence his rank
+1forgot i was on my alt again
@KDnotSpy congrats on 15k, 2 more gold ranks until platinum
now i gotta get this alt to silver, or maybe gold
@MrCOPTY
its named V, but i temporarily renamed it to 7
@MrCOPTY i would rather focus on getting points onto my main acc
@Mage2IsTriggered could i enter my hyperspeed cars such as this or this
.
neither have any sort of suspension
@MrCOPTY i wont upload to this account often, so it will likely stay bronze
congrats, it took me much longer to get to silver. (well my main account anyway, this one is still bronze)
it got me
+1@Bellcat edit: i fixed the issue by adding a gyroscope that is weak enough to be counteracted by the FT stabilization system, but is able to move the craft around when it is at high speeds.
+1@7
+2@DeveloperKorzalerke for some reason pinging past usernames doesnt work anymore. it does indeed have standard SP autopilot
@7
can i just not use suspension? (in the sense that my wheels will not have any sort of shock absorbing at all) and can i use wings?
so i cant remove mass and drag from decals and stuff. that sucks

+1this kind of stuff is what the sucsessor system was meant for
+5mind if i use this on the second version of my racecar?
