@NikoFox your reply to Tully demonstrates you seem to misunderstand how Ai works... The Ai in this game isn't dumb, because that straight up isn't how Ai works.
The Ai in SimplePlanes is programmed to fly airplanes. It will try to controll a ground vehicle as if it was an airplane, because that is how the Ai works.
(Yes, it was a intentionally very hard / terrible landing... It works fine as long as you do not slam it into the pavement.)

Edit: A lot of people are commenting that is was a stupid way to land... You are 100% right, I just did this because of the funny. I appriciate your serious input, though. <3
Yes, this is possible using overload. Mass scale is normally set to 1, by changing this value you can change the mass. (A value of 2 results in the part having twice as much mass.)
I talk about how to make custom missiles in this video. Everything in the second part of that video (so from the time this link start playing) is also applicable to bombs. However, to make use of the parachute you must keep its physical properties (appart from the 'disableAirCraftColissions').
I have the same issue. GTX 1070ti, Ryzen 7 2700 and 32gb of DDR4 3200Mhz RAM should be enough. Yet the game still drops to 30fps with 1000 part builds.
@Jaspy109 I'm confused, what are you talking about? I check out virtually all profiles of people who upvote and / or comment on the things I post... I don't understand why you would view that as pity?
@Jaspy109 That is not the full story. I heavily modified an old plane of mine to be easily 3D printable. It took quite a bit of time to make it as easy as possible for anybody to just print it right away.
That said, I did not expect all the love it got. <3
Here are some things you might like to know:
Rotors, etc, can have their base removed through overload by adding 'disableBaseMesh' and setting this to 'true' using overload.
You can make weaponsbays automatic by setting their input to: SelectedWeapon = "WeaponName" (You need to use the ").
Hey, I noticed that the landing gears doors open first before the gear moves. How is this done? Ofcourse, I can see the input in overload, but how does it work?
In overload you can add "disableBaseMesh" under the 'JointRotator' tab of the rotator parts. If you set this to true you can make the rotors of the flying tail virtually invisable. :)
Number one rule of the internet: don't share your real name.
Welcome, though!

Those lights are to indicate the angle of attack. This F-18 walkaround mentiones it and also explains it pretty well.
@FeatherWing So you are quite sure that I edited it, because I added 'edit'? Uhm, okay, yeah... That is why I wrote 'edit'.
@FeatherWing No... I only just pinned it and added the edit. The stuff between the ( ) has been there since I uploaded it.
Also, please do check out Souka's original build!!
@AWESOMENESS360 Thenk
@FeatherWing Please refer to the pinned comment.
Couldn't help myself... Such a shame this work of art didn't fly. So I forced it to go UP. I made a flying succesor, because funny.
+1@redbear89 Thx! :)

How is this relevant to SimplePlanes?
@Charris969 Please do not tag without the person you tagged requesting a tag or response to someone's comment...
I love it!
@DerpCoAndDoge Yep... And yet it is a 100% accurate replica. :)
@EternalDarkness That pinned post sounds great! :)
@GroBaleaze I agree. On my latest build I've been working with custom landing gear. It is just such a pain to get to work how you want it, though.
@Ryan110 You are welcome. :)
If you would like to learn how to make missiles like this, I made this YouTube tutorial to showcase how to do so.
@Ryan110 Here it is :)
@sentinelaerospace I did not know that :)
Pssst. It should be ! [] (link) with nothing between the [] and no spaces between each segment. :)

+1I'd argue that building planes is very much how you play Simple Planes :)
This aircraft IRL just looks like somebody download another players aircraft and then changed it up a bit... It looks hidious.
This replica is very nice, though! I love it :)
I like, clever screenshot!
@Jester I'm really curious if my Akula Submarine made it in. Edit: I already came across it, so nvm. :)
Amazing work, this mod is very nice. Finally there is random sea traffic!

Don't be so harsh on yourself.
Very nice!!
Could really use some custom missiles, though. :)

This thing is sick!
Very nice build!!

Keep it up! :)
@Deqnq it is named after something else. But yes, with two d's it would have been a snake's name. :)
@mLk It is the top. :)
+1What?
I will not comply with your upvote begging. But here is some advice on how to get a few more upvotes:
Soooo... You are just a normal teenager going through puberty?

I also listen to this

+1I love the two tone paint job!!

Ai planes will also try to TOUCHIE whenever you are just flying around. They are programmed to give hugs with a high kenetic energy.
+9I already did a hand reveal...
Download some planes with cockpits and just take some inspiration from that.
This is pretty cool.
I slapped on a quick flying tail, made it much more manouverable.
@CooldodgeAirlines It may be. But you do understand how long a lifetime is right?
@CooldodgeAirlines I don't really care... 7 days < about 21900 days.
Did you type in a working IP adress?
Clearly I'd watch Son of the Mask 50 times... That is literally less than a week.
