Disclaimer : I just made a forum that didn't seem to spread, so I am making this post only for communication purposes and to inform players,
because I didn't see any developper's blog about that sale.
If a moderator find it inapropriate, tell me and I'll remove it.
I still think, once again, that you should put even more effort in your builds, and you really must use DesignerSuite or the in-game blueprints tool to make your builds, if not 1:1 scaled, at least blueprint accurate.
I already see some details you could make better, such as giving an angle to the tail hook (the real F-4 has its hook "glued" to it's tail) or nudging the cockpit a lot more in front of the aircraft.
It seems that you either didn't read or ignored my last comment. I don't really care, but I just want to share you some tips to really improve your builds.
If you continue the current way, I will not be able to enjoy your builds, and other users too.
@KnightOfRen just a bit of constructive criticism.
I think you should remake this plane from scratch, and help yourself with blueprints.
This current build looks way too blocky and you should try, and you can try to make it fully with fuselage blocks and a decent panelling. Also, you could and should make custom engines and landing gears, the default ones are ugly af and you'll see it's not complicated : basically a rotator, some fuselage blocks for the leg, a shock, and one or more resizable wheels per LG leg.
Take your time, in this game look and functionality go as a pair and if you want people to like your builds you must, here for example, at least make a round fuselage instead of a square one.
Also try to make a custom cockpit, the default ones are again ugly, and I know you can do that.
Hey y'all ! I don't know if you guys play SP since a while or since like 2 weeks but here are a few tips for beginners.
First, you MUST use fuselage blocks instead of regular blocks in ALL your builds. The fuselage block is and infinite source or fun that can be used to create the most magnificent shapes, from a nose cone to a radio compass or a custom missile.
Second, if not done yet, you must enable the Overload and Fine Tuner mods, no matter if you play on PC or mobile. Be careful, mobile gamers can't access mods anyone since the 1.8 update.
Overload will allow you to rescale parts whose size can't normally be changed, such as the rotators, bombs or gyroscopes, for example, and modify the properties of every single part in the game. Here is a guide on how to use the said properties.
Also concerning the website, due to your new points, here are a few things.
You can now upvote another player's build or forum you like, and each upvote on a build or video rewards 15 points, each upvote on a forum : 2 points, on a mod : 25 points.
There are also ranks (the color and the number next to your username):
0-100 pts : White
101-1000 : Bronze
1001-5000 : Silver
5000-25k : Gold
25001+ : Master (people usually call it Platinum)
If you have more points than another user, no matter how many, you can also spotlight their builds. If will show the build to every of your followers.
Also yeah, you can follow players to keep track of their new builds, and every of their new builds will appear in your Jet Stream, where you'll also see the planes they spotlighted.
Disclaimer : sorry for the novel XD but there's so much to say about SP and SP.com
I honestly think you could and should try to make it more blueprint accurate and look nicer.
Take your time, build it slowly but perfectly.
People will like it more.
Also this comment is'nt supposed to be negative but only constructive criticism.
@Sm10684 yes, I see a screenshot with a message about SP that crashed. In the future, always use Discord to upload images, that's what I always do and it always works.
