Could you make the tracers match the countries origin too? Anm2 red for americans, mg17 green for germans, I think the MGFF was a lime colour/light green. I was using Orange for british aircraft so could you set the Hispanos to orange? Mk108 I can't find any information on but ShKAS/was white (soviets generally whites and blues) so ShVAK shall we say cyan blue?
Are the rates of fire accurate? They all seem really high ROF. For example, the Mk_108 has 650rpm
I was planning on creating two b17 bombers. One will be a turreted version like this, except every gun has camera furniture and gun ironsights, but also still flawless with gear and wing controls ect.
The second version will just be a bomber, that means a full cockpit internals, bombardier internals, bomb bay and working bomb scope that can be controlled to accurately bomb depending on height.
Its going to be a lot of work, but your design here is really inspiring, I will take this and use your mods to design this newer bomber.
This is such a cool idea but I'm having trouble figuring out how to attach it to a plane with finetuner. Any chance you could make a short tutorial video?
Sick dude. I love how this is so well thought out for a naval bomber - something the Germans never really had.
I recommend you setup a genuine torpedo sighting system for this. The torpedoes are super slow - but if you setup a system and say 'release the torpedo while approaching ship at its side, at a distance of 1 mile, 400m height at correct speed' and then attach an indicator on the gunsight... You'd be able to hit it every time you setup an attack run.
@BroAeronautics yeah, there's also prewar german fighters like the Focke-Wulf Fw 159, or the arado ar80. I'll look into the 68.
I want all of my aircraft in this catagory to have something unique about them. Eg, chaika has exceptional manoeuvrability and bad speed, a5m has telescopic sight system and easy carrier takeoff/landing, hurricane is a light ground bomber/fighter, p40 is a strictly energy fighter
I want the german and italian choices to have their own unique characteristics too. Any ideas?
The elevators on the tail? they're set to flat bottom, so they're creating lift on the tail and pushing the nose down. You also need weight on the nose. I suggest putting 1,000lbs dead weight on the two nose fuselage pieces.
Then I hit the problem where it would just explode randomly while flying so, good luck with that
@CursedFlames I made this on android, not sure how PC controls work but phones get a touch-joystick so you can fly very sensitive for accurate shooting, or pull up hard all the way for turnfighting.
Flat spins from over pitching was a pretty common feature in 1930's era aircraft, I wanted to replicate that effect in my prewar series.
The last preww2 fighter I want to do is a German one, any suggestions? (not the 109)
@JakeTheDogg @jamesPLANESii look at the design I just posted.
Wing control surfaces are redirected to yaw and trim. The bomber just flies in a straight line anyway.
I don't see how it could? I need to find a way of making the pitch on this turret lock on to the target and stay locked on. Whats happening at the moment is the AI is rolling correctly and then pulling up, raising the gunfight to align to the target. But because it thinks it's chasing the target in a turn instead of being a turret, it doesn't work properly.
I need to find a way of making the pitch of this turret act like the pitch of a normal plane. It's other only problem left.
@Agung44 The whirlwind is next on the list, but I'll not finish it for a few days.
Could I request a missile?
I'll use these, How do you make these?

@Scottydoestuff Shameless plug - I did a Kikka
@t8erh8er thanks man, I understand.
Cool idea. Works well.
Fantastic but there's a lot I want to do.

Lmao nice
@TheOwlAce @BogdanX @TAplanes
Old one deleted
Very clean design, nice work.

Congrats winners! Fun contest!
Nice!
@Agung44 Working on the cockpit architecture. Do me a favour and google image search for a me163 paintjob you'd like me to use.
I'm in
@Agung44 you just did ;) I'm also working on someone else's request too. Thanks for the upvotes
@Agung44 I'll take a crack at it.
@TheOwlAce got it. I'll keep it in mind for the next one. Thanks!
@BroAeronautics I scale pretty much all of my works to 0.82/1. Its better than scaling 1/1 for a whole bunch of reason
@TheOwlAce Thanks. Any critiques?
@ShiptyCo Its planned, but not for a while. I'm doing a series of anti-shipping warplanes next. Anything you'd like to see there?
@bskngshrk I'll just go with the p40.
I'm not jealous of your position, trying to judge all of those submissions is going to be hard. Good luck!
@bskngshrk yup. Check out the comment I wrote on your challenge page.
Bombing system is pretty great. I hit the bridge at 30k first try easy.
Shooting from yeager airport, you can shell the Wright island.
Cool stuff. Runs great on mobile.
Really nice. You should put this on a boat n run anti carrier missions.

I still can't figure out how you link a fuselage piece to a missile :(
@ChiChiWerx wow really? I haven't heard of a website banning language before.
Holy fugg.
Question from a noob. Using finetuner&scale mod.
I need to bind two default 50lbs bombs to a rocket. I need that rocket to be unguided - just launchable by hitting the act.
How would I go about this?
Could you set the Ohka activation wings to 5? I don't know how you did it.
Perfect! Thanks!
Its a really good design. Here's how you fix it.

Looks like a hybrid between a stuka and a fokkewulf. Great shape! 5/5
Very cool but what's the nose supposed to be?
Holy shit it's fast though
@F104Deathtrap not sure. I've done their main fighter/bomber but not sure about a prewar fighter. Might give it a miss and move on.
@Zandgard Would the he112 be a good choice?
Check out my designs.
@CursedFlames Also pls upvote :3
@JakeTheDogg any ideas?

@Agung44 Go for it man.
I'm planning on redoing this completely later. Cockpit for the ohka and bomber pilot., ect.

Nice cockpit but why is it so long :0

@MechWARRIOR57 @jamesPLANESii
This is one idea, doesn't work though.
Roll is working ok, but looks stupid.
Pitch doesn't work. I need to think of a system that stops and doesn't need further pitch input when the horizontal alignment to target is reached.

Love those colours :0
@ShiptyCo I'm on mobile too.
Then it's a problem with the clipping. That's frustrating.
Could you fix it on your version and upload it?
any other critiques I should work on?
@ShiptyCo ooooh really?
That's new to me. The nose guns shoot the propeller off in your version?
What are you playing on?
