I could add a few vtol nozzles for speed but then I'd have a less accurate replica for this one. I used it for a previous F-16 build, though I'm frustrated with that one. I just uploaded a new jsf entry called the Sea Bat. Please check it out.
I had a blast. brought it to 5000 ft. cut to 50% power coasted without rcn to 1500. activated rcn to aid pitch. at 200 ft power off to slow then full power for a suicide burn! *ace ventura voice* like a glove! it glided right onto the water at 100 mph and about a 3:1 glide slope.
great design. Have you tried the cold war challenge by @Allstarship? I think this has a lot of potential. I even started on the south runway and got lift off.
@WalrusAircraft indeed. I'd be glad to see what you can do. The new gear are pretty amazing. I really do have to start fiddling with xml. @Allstarship I'll remove the vtol nozzles. I'll probably leave the vtol engine, to allow for a variety of missiles. @DeathFromAbove thank you. I'very been trying to avoid blocks as much as possible, kind of like @Hypnotoad. @TheLatentImage thank you. I had a little trouble with the fuselage but I'll learn to do better. @Teus Thank you. I've thought about having a separate function for closing the gear doors. The biggest problem with landing gear for me, I love the function of doors but in reality they aren't tied to the gear with the same range of motion per unit of time. They wait until the gear are in certain positions to perform certain tasks. If the doors close slow for the gear to retract first, they open slow and are in the way of extending those gear. I'll try again. It may have to be a little bigger to get all of it in there. Thanks again everyone I just got here for today. I'm off to see what everyone's done.
@WalrusAircraft My Favorite part. watching the breathing mask fly all over the cockpit during engagement brought depth and urgency. have a great night.
@WalrusAircraft thanks Walrus. Thinking about my own version of the J7w1 Shinden admittedly not going to compare with @hfusiwjf29. There was a great Anime movie called Sky Crawlers. There were planes based off it as well as FW190s. I may try that. I may work on one from a sketch I did years ago. Engines like the HO229, but the whole plane is flipped 180°. The rudder is under the nose with the canards and a double dihedral lift wing. The original drawing was deiselpunk. Rudders are on the back for a reason, it probably won't work. If you know of any viable examples please let me know. thanks again for all the help.
@ElitheGeat thanks.
Amazing Agile Able and all the other awesome a words for great! I dig it. I almost landed on the USS Tiny with it.
@fearlesslemon I believe Avro was in Canada working with America on a turbine vtol aero car that was affectionately called the avro flying saucer.

by thrust down I mean the nozzles are pointed down, haha.
only one of the most fantastic planes ever!
@planesnthings Thank you.
@Awesomeplanes great point.
So much fun! Love your style.
I love the design.
I dig it.
This plane is perfect.
@Allstarship thank you.
I love it! I may have to borrow similar landing gear for mine.
@Spelaren thank you. I'll try to move the COM forward when I figure out better landing gear.

@ElijtheGeat haha
@Awesomeplanes indeed the slope back inside is a challenge.
Hahaha Yes Indeed! I'm going with Louisiana as my Country.
by the way Love the presentation.
looking forward to it.
@ElijtheGeat I'll do my best!
awesome!
I love it!
As awesome as all the other details are on this plane, I'm most impressed with the simplicity of the iron crosses.
My favorite in reality and in this game.
So smooth. Easy to land also. Glides in even at 70 mph.
This is amazing.

Please let me know what you think @WalrusAircraft.
I like the looks the turrets don't move and the steering is reversed. With a little more work this thing will be even cooler Than it already is.
So much fun!
This is genius.
Very clever configuration.
@ahappyape Thanks I'm working on a better one.
Beautiful and balanced.
@WalrusAircraft My Favorite part. watching the breathing mask fly all over the cockpit during engagement brought depth and urgency. have a great night.
@WalrusAircraft best I could find. Thanks for the idea. http://www.watchanimemovie.com/sub-dub/sky-crawlers.html

Oh yeah!
The hits keep on coming! Keep your radio tuned to WalrusAircraftFM!
@tominator thanks man!
I love it. Have you considered adding slats along the bottom for straighter riding?
Lots of fun great story.
@TheLatentImage Thank you. I'll try to streamline it at the same time.
@hypnotoad thanks.
@hypnotoad thanks dude.
@hypnotoad thanks dude. My phone was set low. I didn't think to try before posting was in a hurry. I love these planes.
I love this plane.
