@CheeseTruffles the gear breaking one - haven't been able to get it to work (nor find it xD) on your aircraft- specifically high speed gear breaking. I can't get it to work from a detacher (because wobble) and hinges go back to where they came from and I can't find the right value for them anyway. Sooo the mechanism for breaking the gear I guess if you don't mind sharing it
@TiFosiF i have a fix if you want it? controllable down to about 100mph (im trying to get it lower) and very controllable at speeds above that. I'm aiming for a landing speed of about 90-95
so this is tne new version? i have fixed the old one to a realistic level of agility but now the control surfaces at the back are bigger - is this fine or would you like them to be the same size?

So I'm trying to make a set of landing gear that breaks (basically bends out of shape) when the plane gets above a certain speed. the code I'm using at the moment is LandingGear=0 & IAS>950 ? clamp01(sum(IAS)) : ((sum(IAS))>950 ? 1 : 0) (ignoring the 'amp;' bit). obviously this could be slimmed down more, but it works fine except for the fact I seem to have created a device that activates semi-randomly. I think the problem is with the sum() function, as it provides the total sum of values, but I can't find a way to retain the highest IAS reached. Is this possible, and if so, any chance you could show me how to do it?

Use that for effects, it isn't too performance intensive, also do it at sunset. in terms of video, record at 1080p because then it will take less time to render, and will be perfect for most monitors @ND40X
@Airbus747SP it's a fictional aircraft but agood websites to use for ww2 aircraft are this one for general info and this one for performance data etc.
I now acttually can't find the website I actually use but these are ok
@An2k it doesnt fit properly, because of the way the passenger is modelled. I have tried it, but decided i wanted the pilot to detach from the seat when the parachute is deployed
@An2k I'm building am F-84g with a functioning ejector seat, I need a human figure but it looks bad without ragdoll and I cant figure out how to make one, so I was gonna use yours (with permission)
Also ragdoll position I can change, but I couldn't figure out how to put one together

edit: actually this new one did work - but what parameters fo i need to change to make it a delay of one second or two seconds instead of 7-10?

1: the easiest way is through overload, which i believe has now been built into the game (i dont know because i had it already)
2: no i dont think there is a way, there is no xml command for it like there is engines.
